The atmosphere is very cool – a real beach vibe. One waiter with large glasses served us several times and was fantastic. Other staff members could use some more training (e.g., asking customers if they need help). Paying at the single till takes a very long time; this should be handled differently. The food is excellent for the price, but reservations are essential for lunch and dinner.

One of our favorite places! The staff is nice, cheerful and very attentive. The atmosphere is great, the music is always playing. The cocktails and food were very delicious. If you want to relax in a nice place with a good atmosphere, with a delicious cocktail, then visit here!!

Truly beautiful location, right on the beach, just 100 meters from the sea. Prices are a little high, but then again, you're in Lignano and, most importantly, on the beach.

Al Cral Osteria con cucina

22/02/2026: After a long time of talking about it, we headed up to Trava for lunch at this restaurant. We'd set out on foot from Chiassis to work up an appetite, but we didn't really need to, as the dishes were all excellent and superbly cooked. In particular, the best frico I've ever had in 20 years of culinary explorations up and down the region. Impeccable service, informal yet precise and fair. The price was absolutely in line with the quality of the offerings, and actually quite reasonable.
14/02/2026: Hi everyone, today we ate at Al Cral...nice atmosphere, excellent food, top service... Thanks to the owner, who let me park in his car, very kind...I recommend it to everyone 😃😃
