Fantastic food and great service

We stumbled upon this place on accident when trying to escape the rain and boy are we glad we did! By far one of the best meals we had! To start, the environment was warm, cozy, and intimate. Although they were busy, we were seated about 5 minutes after arriving. The menu had something for everyone and everything was delicious. Our pasta dishes were fresh and tasty. Our salad was perfect. Christian our server was INCREDIBLE. He answered all our questions, made fantastic recommendations, and picked a wine for us that everyone loved. It was actually our favorite bottle on the entire trip. We left this restaurant not only feeling full, but truly feeling well taken care of. Cannot recommend coming here enough. It is certainly on our list to return to next time we are in the area!

Excellent wine bar, good, hearty food, cozy atmosphere just meters from the Vatican

We came across this place after touring the Vatican and saw lots of locals so we knew we had to try! After reading other reviews, we didn’t receive the same experience which is disappointing. The food was okay and our service was extremely slow. We had to chase the waiter down or ask someone else to help us.

Great location. Italian coffee and croissant are significantly good. Chianti classic Wine is highly recommended too. It’s so chilly sitting here in rainy, eating spaghetti and having a glass of wine.

Bar storico, sempre elegante, pulito con prodotti veramente buonissimi. Uno dei pochi posti a Roma che continua a mantenere standard altissimi a distanza di una trentina di anni. Alessandro, Paola e tutto lo staff sempre eccezionali. Impressionante scelta di vini. Panino con mozzarella, acciughe, fiori di zucca e pomodorini secchi è il King della casa, immenso! Sempre bravi.
