A very nice fancy interior, quite higher prices (small bottle cola is 8 eur). Some of the personnel was friendly, some less so.

Typical and refined Milanese cuisine. Excellent service. Magnificent saffron risotto.

This Milanese spot enchanted me. Calm, peaceful, and beautifully decorated. Understated yet refined. I had the daily special plus dessert. A delicious stuffed ravioli. A very good glass of wine. The service was welcoming and friendly. Excellent coffee. I hesitated to give it 4 stars because of the portion sizes; frankly, they were a bit small. Luckily, they had excellent bread.

The girl at the reception was very kind and helpful. Then, I went to the place to sit and order a hot chocolate which they didn't have, even though they are famous for it. The girl at the service didn't help me at all with the order even though I didn't know Italian drinks and seemed to have no patience with me without even having a special crowd in the shop. She constantly had a sour, contemptuous tone. Nevertheless, the place is very beautiful and fortunately they didn't charge us a cover charge (something that is common in Milan) for two coffees. The prices are generally high but for the area, tolerable. The place is clean and very beautiful.

Don't buy that ICE CREAM... Ridiculous quantity for an ice cream that doesn't excite: legalized theft

It has become my absolute favorite place in Milan. Perfect welcome, elegant and refined yet unpretentious location. The staff is knowledgeable, the service is impeccable, as is any order. The background music is perfect, as is the distance between the tables.
