Tipica trattoria di campagna. Locale gradevole. Buoni i cibi scelti dall'antipasto al dessert. Servizio informale, ma attento. Ciò che ha penalizzato notevolmente il giudizio è stata la lunga attesa tra una portata e l'altra.

Classic restaurant for a midday stop with a lunch menu for those who travel or work for reasons and need a quick and let's say tasty lunch, 4 first courses of your choice with 4 second courses, funny side dishes, wine 🍷 water included with coffee, fast and friendly staff yes can say they were fully satisfied, see you next time.

Quiet evening at the restaurant. I insist on having a beef tartare with quail egg. The last 10 tartares have all turned out to be totally flavourless, and this one is no exception. I have to go back to the Langhe to eat it. The snails with polenta are very good. Wide choice of desserts, all homemade, excellent tiramisu.

Bij het meer krijg je vooral pizza en pasta en niet altijd de beste kwaliteit. Hier proef je vooral de echte lokale keuken. Een echte aanrader. Ook al begrijp ik dat niet alle gerechten even gangbaar zijn voor iedereen. Ik kon het niet laten om de ezel te proeven. Een heerlijke stoof met rode wijn, kruiden en groente. De haas met pasta is ook een echte aanrader. De ravioli met kaas of pompoen waren perfect. Dunne pasta, een niet overheersende smaak en overheerlijk op elkaar afgestemd. Toetjes worden ook in ruime keuze aangeboden.

Trattoria del Sole

20/01/2025: Saturday for lunch, wonderful sunshine, not too crowded, we ordered lake fish with polenta. The fried fish was a little too salty, whitefish and perch good. It is so worth walking a few km, stopping to admire nature, listening to the silence and then stopping here to eat
13/01/2025: In exceptional experience. Today the sun was shining on Monte Isola so I decided to take a little trip and have lunch there. I chose the Trattoria del Sole for its splendid position on the lake, everything else was a splendid discovery. Very friendly and courteous staff. Olive oil produced by them used to dress the salad, very fragrant and tasty. The varied menu, fish and meat dishes. I chose grilled fish with mixed salad for dessert and a delicious chocolate cake covered in dark chocolate 🫣 the bomb. The environment is very clean and relaxing and the view is spectacular! I will definitely be back!
