What a lovely little restaurant! We went here on the recommendation of our B&B owner. It's a bit hidden. We ate outside in the courtyard. A lovely, typically Italian atmosphere. The reason we recommended it is the Pasta Carbonara! We all enjoy the Carbonara, and I can assure you, it's delicious!

A small trattoria in a small square at the end of an alley. Weather permitting, there are also outdoor tables where we dined, even though the evening was quite cool. Let me start by saying it's worth a visit. Trusting the reviews, I ordered pasta carbonara, something I never do in restaurants I don't know, lest I miss it. Its simplicity makes it a dish that requires a great deal of skill from the chef, as the egg can sometimes be very runny or solid. I must say I've rarely had it this good; it was simply excellent. The meatballs were the kind you never order in a restaurant, a fact even mentioned humorously on the menu. The cod was equally as good as the first course, which might seem strange in a region known for its meat, sausage, and truffle dishes to find such an excellent seafood dish with clams, prawns, and calamari. Add to all this the courtesy and kindness of the owners, and you'll have a perfect evening.
