Villa Velar In Lazise

This year 2026 we are returning to the Hotel Da Roberto from July 5th to July 21st and we will come back to eat at your place because last year we ate very well and received a magnificent welcome and there were 10 of us.

Very friendly staff. The food was delicious. We hadn't made a reservation, but the staff still tried to give us a table, albeit only for an hour. The drinks and food arrived quickly and tasted great. After about 40 minutes, the staff came to us and said they had rearranged things and we could finish eating at our leisure, no rush. We ordered dessert, which was also very tasty. To top it all off, there was live music from a solo entertainer. We'd gladly come again, but with a reservation next time. 😜

Luckily, we didn't let some of the negative reviews deter us from coming here. The food was absolutely superb, from the pizza and the primi di pesce to the grilled fish platter and the tiramisu. The Chiaretto also paired perfectly with the meal, and the service was quick and friendly. We'll definitely be back.

The entire team was attentive and friendly, making us feel welcome from the very first moment. It's precisely this warm, familial atmosphere that makes an evening in Italy so special. The food at Villa Velar is outstanding – freshly prepared, authentically Italian, and made with love. We were particularly impressed by the pasta and the traditional fish dishes. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

Phenomenally good and large pizza, very friendly service, but unfortunately only a standing toilet for men.
