A very nice hotel. Rustic yet modern. Friendly and helpful staff. A special highlight is the fantastic sauna, which can be booked for €5 per person.

An excellent holiday spent in this wonderful hotel. Enchanting place, easily accessible, strategic location. Room with a whirlpool tub and a spectacular view. Breakfast was plentiful and catered for all needs, and for this I wanted to thank Mrs. Eugenia for her exquisite and attentive service. Good spa treatment. Top-quality food in the restaurant. The only flaw I'd like to point out is that the management should pay more attention to the cleanliness and layout of the rooms. Everything else was EXCELLENT. We'll be back very soon.

Villa Madruzzo really blew me away. The rooms are beautiful, with breathtaking views of the Dolomites right outside the window. The food was amazing from start to finish—breakfast, dinner, everything was delicious. But what made the stay truly special was the staff. From housekeeping to the waiters and reception, everyone was so kind, professional, and always ready to help. They made me feel completely at home.

I've been a regular guest at Villa Madruzzo since the late 1990s, and I'm always so happy to return! Our family feels completely at home there and we're also incredibly impressed by how dog-friendly Villa Madruzzo is. Our dog is always thrilled to be there, and it's always super easy! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast and food in the restaurant are simply delicious! We've celebrated so many wonderful moments at Villa Madruzzo and have so many wonderful memories associated with this wonderful place!

We discovered and fell in love with Villa Madruzzo in the 1990s. Back then, it was a real insider tip. Whenever we're at Lake Garda, we almost always plan a visit and have never been disappointed. A true gem. A visit to Trento and the surrounding area is also definitely worth it.

The long-established hotel is located above the city with views over the valley and the mountains. Slightly away from the city center, which can be reached by car in about 10 minutes, and by bus, it's about 30 minutes to the Cathedral Square. There's almost no street noise, although you can occasionally hear cars from the street below or the street that runs north of the hotel. There are free parking spaces in front of the building and in the courtyard. The reception isn't signposted at all when coming from the lower parking lot! I went up the stairs and suddenly found myself in the restaurant?! The reception was friendly, although I don't like it when the staff can hide behind screens. The restaurant is elegantly decorated, but you can only sit inside, even in the height of summer. At least the large windows are half-opened, and you have a mountain view to the east. An emergency exit is blocked by a table for six. Alternatively, I can recommend the trattoria "La Gnoccata." The reception and bar area are furnished with furniture and floor coverings from the 1980s, which I unfortunately didn't like at all. Nor did I like the fact that cigarette butts and other small trash are lying around everywhere in the courtyard, which unfortunately no one clears away. Christian at the bar was very friendly and attentive. The drinks are reasonably priced: a Negroni costs €7, and comes with chips, pretzel balls, and other small pastries. Chiara at the reception and Anna in the restaurant were also very friendly and helpful. Dinner is available à la carte; the prices are a bit higher, but still perfectly reasonable for a four-star hotel. I had a room in the new wing with a view of the trees. This kept the room nice and cool even on 35°C days. It had air conditioning, but unfortunately, you can't set it on a timer. I always find that quite useful when falling asleep, because it eventually turns off on its own. Blackout blinds, a balcony facing the forest. Unfortunately, the neighboring balcony had a whirlpool, which caused a constant humming noise. Plenty of counter space in the bathroom, a small storage basket in the shower – perfect. Dogs are allowed! What you hear everywhere and over and over again are humming air conditioners and bubbling whirlpools. Chambermaids clean while playing very loud music, which can be heard throughout the park! Very good and large breakfast buffet! The small jam jars are not sustainable and create a lot of waste. In the fairly spacious and well-kept garden, there are only nine loungers and two side tables, which is far too few for such a large house. I didn't use the wellness area, which costs around €6. Very fair cancellation policy up to two days before arrival. The complaints management was exemplary. I didn't like the 80s ambiance; otherwise, I would happily recommend "Villa Madruzzo." And Trento is definitely worth a visit. Stay: 3 nights in August 2025

A truly welcoming and comfortable place; the staff is extremely kind and attentive to their guests' every need. Clean and comfortable rooms, a wellness center where you can relax, and a quality restaurant in a very elegant setting.

A delight, as always. Its location, its beauty, the quality of service, the food, the views.. all magnificent. A shout out to Christian and Mouad for the great cocktails. The food and choices of wine were superb. The hot tubs, and pool and wellness centre made for the perfect holiday experience. To quote my favourite Austrian, "I'll be back"
