Among the best places in Europe. Everything tops the bill.

Always a fascinating breathtaking view

Unexpectedly it was a bad experience for us to stay in this hotel. The rooms were nice but the food was poor. They definitely need new f&b management! Most important my daughter forgot her purse at the grill restaurant which was never found or never given back. I understand it’s her responsibility that she forgot it but how many times have we all forgotten something at a hotel? Also they placed our luggages in the wrong car! Overall I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. You could find better ones around como.

This place is stunning. We have only been to the outdoor terrace where we served a coffee and mocktails. But the lake view, and the service are the best. Realy make you feel spoiled and part of the luxuriant lifestyle the hotel intends to promote. Would defenetly go back.

i used to presume that sometimes the 'best' hotels might have been overrated. This was not the case with Villa D'este. i would return over and over and it would be worth every penny. everything from where it's situated so close to Como,Cernobio etc... that alone is perfect. other favourite parts - love those gorgeous gardens and walk up the stairs - the view is divine and so beautiful and all the little walking trails are amazing - i love all the choices for sports - tennise, kayake, paddle board, boat rides... so many choices and all your staff are absolutely so attentive and kind and polite and respectful - all the choices of where to eat or have a drink. sooo many !! - i loved that i could work in the terrazza under the beautiul shaded tree and your staff all so attentive - la veranda. oh my. i celebrated my 25h annivesary and mario was absolutelyl fantastico. your concierge yhelped us secure the best table, candles, my cspecial cake from yur pastry chef who did a magnificent job / the flowers were absolutely beautful.... and we shared the cake with some of the guests around us. everyone was so wonderful. the food well... 10 star for sure !! and the bottle of Gaja was good as well - i loved that Mario wanted to share la mancia with his fellow colleagues. he cared very much that it was his 'team' that helps make everything work. that is a sign of an excellent employee - lunch was wonderful near the pool as well - the gym if fantastic. yu have covered so many things a gym has to offer whic i was very greatful - the spa was perfect. the massage therapist mejia was perfect. everyone so attentive - the gentlemen who would take our car and give diretions... so wonderful - our room always so clean and neat - please be sure to thank them. they work so hard and we apreicate it - the front desk, federico, christiano - all so absoutely wonderful. we also very much appreciate it. - pianist in the evenings was the absolultely best part of each night during after dinner drinks- the fireworks for ferragosto were the best i've ever seen - magical. OVERALL your staff truly make up your incredible service and ambiance. literally they went out of their way to say good morning good afterrnoon... so incredible attentive, professional, fun, responsive and would do anything to help us. i believe this must come from great management. the place is siply beautful and i would return in a heartbeat and in fact i cannot wait to return with my 85 year old mother. she will love it i wish yu well. and i provided an envelope and mancia with a special note which your concierge pased along for me. i sent them to matteo where the towels to the pool are. , mario in la terrazza, the housekeeping staff for our room 423 ciccolini/ioannides and for the pianist as well to say thank you to all have a great day. i hope his review assists in saying thank you for making our 25th annivesary so very special Cathy Ciccolini and George ioannides da Toronto Canada

Even better experience than the last time we stayed at this magnificent lakeside hotel. The hotel continues to renovate as needed and maintain a true 5 star experience. The staff was warm yet professional in wanting to accommodate our needs..

Very luxury hotel on the lake of Como, and beautiful rooms , beautiful view. The food in the bar was perfect
