Today I went into this pastry shop with my brother... it warmed my heart to see the history and quality still there... if I lived in Pavia I'd be there every day, and I'll be back soon... I had the Paradiso chocolate cake... a delight... I never get to experience those flavors again... Monica

Everything was perfect. If you come to Pavia, you absolutely must have a snack or breakfast at Pasticceria Vigoni. The staff are friendly and the products are high-quality. We had their famous Torta Paradiso, and it's truly one of the best. I highly recommend coming.

I thought it was better than the typical dessert

It's perhaps a little pricey, as I don't see any sweet treats under €2, although these days you have to accept the rising prices. That said, the pastries are very good and the service is excellent. I tried various breakfast items (saccottino, pan gocciolo, croissants, puff pastry) and various pastries (cream puffs, tartlets, etc.). I liked everything and would order everything again, except perhaps the maritozzo, which seemed a little dry. I'd say it's a local favorite and would recommend it.

The best pastry shop in Pavia. Fresh croissants, a wide selection of delicious pastries. A special mention for the early 20th-century Art Nouveau decor, a rare gem these days. Compliments to the always friendly staff.

Beautiful place! A retro tea room and pastry shop. We ordered zabaglione and pistachio cream puffs, a revisited pain au chocolat, and the famous torta paradiso to take home after the holidays. It's already bagged and boxed and comes with a sachet of powdered sugar.
