Kind and qualified staff, the restaurant manager even took the trouble to explain to us why their fried food is so good. Good and plentiful food, good price, I will definitely go back.

We have been here 2times in a row. With a reservation. Saturday it was bussy. Had really good food and got the best wine he had (thanks for your help) 😀 If we come back on a next holiday we would really come back.

Among countless negative reviews, it seemed honest to me to give Cesare what was worthy of Cesare: first of all the courtesy without affectation, but sincere (much appreciated, in addition to the owner's advice) but in reality everything contributed to making the stay a unique experience , from the environment to the quality of the dishes. The scampi cocktail, the prawns in brandy, the tagliolini with prawns with cherry tomatoes and crusco pepper and finally the vanilla ice cream with fig jam were highly appreciated. Thanks above all to Filippo (the lifeguard at the La Playa hotel) who recommended the restaurant to me, I will want to return to taste the fried calamari and more.

Soggiornando qualche notte nel graziosissimo b&b gestito sempre da Mblo’, abbiamo voluto provare anche il ristorante. Il locale è suggestivo , in una posizione stupenda nel centro storico di Fondi , ai piedi del suo castello. Ci sono posti a sedere sia all’interno che all’esterno. Le materie prime usate sono ottime, la preparazione dei piatti è come piace a me, non eccessivamente sofisticata, ma a volte originale, con proposte deliziose (come la tartare di mazzancolle con basilico/menta di cui mi sono ritrovata ad assaporare ogni boccone ad occhi chiusi per non perderne nessuna nota !!!) Il rapporto qualità/prezzo molto buono. L’ accoglienza è piuttosto “asciutta “, ma io la preferisco così anziché affettatamente calorosa: l’importante per me è mangiare bene ed essere servita con garbo. E’ stata proprio un’ottima cena!

Mblo' means over 40 years of history. 40 years of sacrifices. 40 years of experience and passion. 40 years of dedication to work, in creating what is today one of the best restaurants in the southern Pontine area. And its presence in the Michelin guide, as well as many other awards, is no coincidence. We start by admiring the suggestive location, located in an ancient courtyard in the historic center of Fondi, behind the castle. The tables are set up outdoors, for the summer period. The choice of chairs and tablecloths is very beautiful, with a lamp in the center that gives that extra touch that never gets boring. Excellent welcome from the owner, and I must say, with great sincerity, the professionalism of the staff is excellent. The two truly impeccable waitresses. Dinner gets off to a great start with a shrimp and avocado appetizer, accompanied by delicious olive oil. The tagliolini with prawns, cherry tomatoes and dried peppers are the surprise of this evening. A truly unique taste. Fritturina, salted fish, and homemade dessert complete a truly top-notch dinner. The quality of the products, the professionalism of the staff, the location, make this restaurant truly a place of excellence in which to spend a pleasant evening. 100% recommended. Ps: Mblo', in addition to being synonymous with quality, is a nickname attributed to the owner, as is often done in the cities of the southern Pontine area.
