Besides having very nice and affordable wine, I left my wallet there and the business managed to find me on social media and took the time to mail it to me. Incredibly kind of them to do so.

We ordered panini with goat cheese, the cheese was yellow so I guess it’s not goat cheese, explanation was that it went on the toaster, but still didn’t even taste like goat cheese. It should fall apart from itself and this did not. If it’s cheese from a sheep or something else just say so. Food was fine, nothing special

We ordered a mixed platter and sandwiches with local cured meats: everything was super fresh, with authentic flavors and generous portions. The staff is friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable in recommending wine pairings. Ideal for both an aperitif and a relaxed dinner. I recommend trying the focaccia materana with stracciatella. They also serve food at unconventional times; we had lunch here around 4 pm without any problems. Overall, everything was delicious; I highly recommend coming here.

Today I was in Matera and visited the Sassi! Because of the heat, I stopped here! I give this place a 10/10 rating, thanks to the generosity and altruism of the staff! Seeing myself in need, and I'm not ashamed to say it, I was helped! Beautiful souls still exist, thank God! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

10/06/2025: I'm from Matera but I've lived outside for many years. I emphasize this because going to Anna's means tasting the TRUE FLAVORS OF LUCAN. Out of this world lasagna, broad beans and chicory, orecchiette turnip tops, fried breadcrumbs and crusco. Braciole, sausages and so on and so forth. It's all stratospheric! Well done and kind ❤️

02/11/2025: An evening with friends in a welcoming and charming atmosphere, with excellent food. Good value for money. Definitely recommended.
01/11/2025: We ate very well. The platter they gave us was very generous. There were four of us, and the platter for two was more than enough. The starters weren't very generous at first glance, but they filled us up in the end. The waiter was very kind, and the service was very efficient. The atmosphere was very beautiful, typical of Matera. The path to the Tibetan Bridge is nearby. All in all, it was a wonderful experience.
