A wonderful discovery, spectacular pizzas. Delicious dough and excellent toppings, refined ingredients. You can tell they put a lot of care and attention into it. We'll definitely be back. A great opportunity to return to Pavia. See you next time!

Last night, we returned from Verdesalvia and as always, attentive and courteous, focaccia di Recco offered with a voucher, and super good pizza😋😋😋😋, kind and welcoming staff, delicious cheesecake with figs

A well-maintained pizzeria in the city center, with friendly and attentive staff. The "Sfizi" (small snacks) are excellent, especially the potato and porcini flan and the fried anchovies with mayonnaise, highly recommended. The pizzas, however, were less convincing: sophisticated but unbalanced ingredients, imperfect cooking, and the result was closer to focaccia than traditional pizza. Overall, the appetizers were a positive experience, but the pizza was less so.

We entered the restaurant and were greeted in a standard manner. We had already reported our various intolerances when we booked.
We ordered an appetizer to start and two pizzas, clearly specifying that we are lactose intolerant.
During the appetizer, I had to ask twice for bread: nothing serious, but in a restaurant that aspires to be of a certain caliber, the staff should always be attentive. At the end of the appetizer, while my companion was still enjoying the bread with some salsa verde left at the table, the waitress—probably distracted or poorly trained—snatched the piece of bread away with her hands.
When the pizzas arrived, we immediately noticed the absence of mozzarella. This surprised us, because if you decide to remove an ingredient from a dish, it would be appropriate to notify the customer or, better yet, offer an alternative—in this case, lactose-free mozzarella. After all, we're talking about a pizzeria: if managing an intolerance simply means eliminating an ingredient without offering alternatives, the quality of service suffers.
When we asked why there was no mozzarella, the answer was: "We don't have lactose-free mozzarella."
I also find it unfair to charge the same price as a full pizza when a main ingredient is missing.
I should add that we paid in cash and were not given a receipt, which is quite serious.
But the most unpleasant episode came later: about ten minutes after paying, while walking back to the car, we noticed that two desserts had been mistakenly added to the bill, for a total of €13 more. We therefore returned to the restaurant (after a good walk) to report it. I jokingly pointed out the matter, saying: "For all the miles we've traveled, could you at least offer us an amaro!"
The older boy pretended not to hear, turning his back on us, while the younger one replied that they couldn't offer anything.
I should point out that I was joking, but after nearly twenty years of experience in the restaurant business—many of which in five-star luxury hotels—I know that, when faced with an obvious mistake, the only correct approach is to acknowledge it and fix it, especially when the customer shows understanding and kindness.
As for the pizzas, they were nothing special and nothing to justify such a high price; you could find better.

A unique place, offering no traditional first and second courses, but pizzas and dishes that are a cross between tapas and street food. The food is good, the service is attentive, and the atmosphere is pleasant. The pizzas are unique, Neapolitan-style, with a dough that stays soft and never chewy. Prices are average.

The pizzas are excellent, with a special dough that doesn't weigh you down, the service is impeccable and the professional staff are great, the idea for the entree is good.....just a little more choice in beers and wines by the glass and in cocktails.....overall 👍🏻
