We were here for dinner with friends, in the magical setting of the Basilica of San Michele which stands next door. Unfortunately, it may have been because it was Saturday night, or the fact that there was a party at the same time, but the service was disastrous. They had already brought us the wrong drinks and to get the right ones we called the waiters several times. We had 3 pizzas and a salad. Then coffee and dessert, before the coffees arrived there was not even a shadow of the desserts. We asked several times and finally they arrived. A cheesecake with practically no cream and too sweet and a tiramisu that had little to do with the original. The bill was quite high

Non è la mia prima recensione sul vostro locale ma ci ritorno con piacere. Ciò che offrite è un’esperienza sensoriale che, ogni volta, mi appaga. Prodotti fantastici e abbinamenti unici. L’ambiente è paragonabile ad una galleria d’arte ed ogni volta mi sento super bene. Il giovane staff è ciò che ogni locale dovrebbe avere: attenzione, cortesia e sorriso. Complimenti!

Very welcoming atmosphere with excellent service. The roast beef carpaccio was not bad at all, really very good. I also tried the pizza but personally I didn't like it very much. Overall I would say good.

We had lunch there today. A slightly ‘different’ pizza crust but good. Very high quality and Interesting topping ingredients. Very pleasant eating outside. Good price/quality. Unico ‘neo’— toilet was really not clean despite us eating there early in the day and it wasn’t crowded.

To escape the monotony of pizzerias We used a coupon that allowed us to taste an excellent focaccia type Recco. The jar of octopus, potatoes, taggiasca olives and confit tomatoes was delicious, as was the Fassona tartare.

Not the classic Neapolitan pizza, but exactly what we needed to end the evening in the best possible way.
Verdefoglia is located in a quiet alley in Pavia, right next to what appears to be a small, recently restored ducal palace — a truly evocative setting. The environment is welcoming and well-kept, perfect for a relaxed dinner.
The pizzas are gourmet, with a dough that resembles that of focaccia (forgive me if I say nonsense!), light but full of flavor. The ingredients are carefully chosen, and the presentation is decidedly above average.
I tried “Verdesalvia”, the restaurant’s pizza: a margherita with crunchy sage leaves on top. A real delicacy, I am biased because I love sage.
The service was impeccable: kind, attentive staff and — always a welcome detail — entrée and prosecco offered on the house.
A place where you can feel the care and passion. Highly recommended.
