I came here by chance while visiting Modena, recommended by a local pastry shop! Everything was excellent, from the starters to the service, a rustic atmosphere that makes you feel at home...I recommend it!!!!

My family and I went to lunch today for the first time at this restaurant recommended by a local pastry shop, which we'd seen for the first time in Modena. Everything was perfect, the food was very good. And kudos to the waitress, she was very kind and professional.

I ate at this restaurant yesterday for lunch. The dishes were very good, the macaroni alla belle was excellent, the passatelli was tasty, the cotoletta alla bolognese was very delicious. The waiting staff was a bit imprecise with the orders. I recommend it.

I hadn't been to Vecchia Pirri for many years, and I found the same management, the same decor, even the same waiter. And I must say it was very pleasant; it reminds me of those old-fashioned places where you find warmth, authenticity, and golden food. Where the emphasis is on quality, rather than details. It's remained frozen in time, in a decidedly positive way, for me.

Truly delicious food, the tortellini in broth and the tagliatelle with ragù are amazing 🔝, even the still white wine Sauvignon Blanc from Cantina Merano is a pleasure to drink. Special thanks to the service of the girl with the braids (that's what she called herself), who was very friendly and kind. She was able to manage the requests of our table of 12 guests and the loud noise in the room with ease 👍

23/01/2026: Spectacular food, very tasty, with the soul of Modena, one of the best restaurants I've ever visited! Typical regional food, excellent and friendly waiters, great service, Mr. Claudio was very friendly. Dishes tried and excellent: tortellini in broth, tagliatelle with wild boar ragu, mixed meat bolitos, suckling pig.
17/01/2026: Truly a high-level culinary experience, with kind and knowledgeable staff, ready to advise you and carefully explain what you are eating.

14/01/2026: A truly welcoming place, I felt at home! The staff was attentive and available to answer any questions. I've been here twice and will definitely be back. Wide selection and excellent value.
