La Vecchia Pirri is an icon in the Modena area. It's one of those trattorias where you feel right at home, both for the menu and the welcoming atmosphere. I was also thrilled with the place for its value. We chose the chef's specials, and what can I say, they were delicious! I recommend calling to reserve a few days in advance to be sure of a seat!

Had lunch today with a group of friends. The food was truly delicious, and the staff were very friendly and professional. We think our next visit to Modena will definitely include Vecchia Pirri.

You can feel the atmosphere of a typical Modena restaurant. The typical Emilian dishes are very good. Excellent service. The price is reasonable. Recommended.

We arrived around 7:30 p.m. to find the restaurant empty and briefly questioned our choice. By 8:15, however, every table was filled—clear proof we had come to the right place. The meal was exceptional. We began with seasonal, homemade pumpkin-filled pasta, followed by perfectly sliced steak served over fresh rocket salad, complemented with 24-month aged Parmesan and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar. The flavors were balanced and beautifully presented. A truly memorable dining experience, and one I would highly recommend.

Wir hatten das große Vergnügen, im Vecchia Pirri zu essen – und es war ein voller Erfolg! Das Essen war hervorragend: mit viel Liebe zubereitet, geschmacklich auf den Punkt und einfach rundum stimmig. Besonders schön war auch die Atmosphäre im Lokal. Es waren überwiegend einheimische Gäste anwesend, viele davon offensichtlich Stammgäste – ein Zeichen dafür, dass man hier dauerhaft Qualität bekommt.
Der Service war außergewöhnlich freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu sein. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist absolut angemessen – faire Preise für wirklich sehr gute Küche.
Wir können Vecchia Pirri uneingeschränkt empfehlen

Cibo buono, tipico modenese, ottimo per far provare le specialità agli ospiti stranieri, ma i tavoli sono troppo bassi, non ci si sta con le gambe sotto al tavolo, davvero scomodo, e io sono 1.70m. gli ospiti stranieri alti quasi 2m proprio soffrivano, peccato perché la cucina è buonissima
