What an unusual place, in the best possible way. They clearly cater to locals. In fact, we never even got the menu. The chew/owner came to chat with us — in perfect English — and suggested dishes. Since we struggled to pick, he let us sample several dishes. It was a lovely experience and while we never saw a menu, prices were more than reasonable.

A highly unique blend of village getaway and fantastic, down-to-earth cuisine with unexpected creativity and a love of produce, the region, and the art of cooking. No frills. Simply delicious. Pickled dandelion root—I'm still thrilled :) The simplicity of the outdoor dining area would have never suggested such a welcoming treat. I've found a new culinary love :)

Trattoria in a small village in Friuli, family-run, where you feel at home. You eat the specialties of the area, starting with the cheeses and the homemade salami. Then come the cjarsons, with herbs or with nettles and walnuts, and you taste the delicacy of the pasta. Finally, a nice cup of well-made tiramisu. Congratulations because with simple products you offer excellent food.

Very kind owner, 80 years old and still so much passion and desire to cook.
High quality rib eye and fillet, very tender, that melted in the mouth.

Osteria alla mano, semplice ma curata. Titolare e la ragazza super gentili.
Abbiamo preso un antipasto di formaggio della zona con salame: caciotta, formaggio di malga e formaggio stagionato, salame nostrano. Il formaggio era pesato per tre commensali, salame intero che potevamo mangiare anche tutto! Ottime costolette di agnello con peperoni in agrodolce, e mi dicono anche i dolci. prezzo super onesto.
Un salame lo abbiamo acquistato da portare a casa!
