Dinner with spouse: all good. Excellent price/quality ratio, courteous staff and very attentive owner (voice menu).

Typical tavern with an essential environment and friendly staff. The owner divides his time between illustrating the dishes, taking orders and collaborating in the kitchen: commendable. The strong dishes seem to be the meat, cut and ribs. I took an appetizer of mixed cheeses and salami served on a self-service cutting board with knife. Ordered some excellent ravioli with wild herbs and those with red radicchio. The homemade dessert is good. Price not exaggerated. Must try.

We were so enthusiastic about this restaurant that we decided to stop in Tolmezzo for 2 evenings! Mr Alessandro is an excellent chef! And a very kind person. His love for work emerges. We ordered the fillet which was shown to us whole first on the cutting board. We tasted it and the meat melted in our mouth. We were served excellent "table" wines whose clarity was clearly noticeable. They are certainly not all like this, although the names are recurring! Very happy, we returned to also taste 2 types of ravioli, and again the fillet served this time, raw with a little oil and salt. Everything perfect. Thank you!

This is our second visit to this place. This time we ordered ravioli with pork belly and dumplings with plums. Top notch again, we can't wait for our next visit. For dessert, crostata with ricotta - amazing.

I would like to give 6 stars but there is no such option. We have been going to Carnia for almost 3 years. We have never before come across such wonderful dishes, great service and, at the same time, a festive atmosphere. My wife said she had never eaten such a sirloin steak in her life and my lamb was also top shelf.

Esperienza molto gradevole in un’ osteria con la “O” maiuscola! Locale caldo e accogliente, una stufa di ceramica a riscaldare i due ambienti, formaggi e salumi in vista, tagliati e serviti con pane caldo e una stanza con un focolare centrale e delle panche per bere e mangiare un boccone seduti intorno al fuoco scoppiettante. Ottimi i Ciarsons e anche la Fiorentina. Vino della casa molto buono, servizio accorto e cordiale e ottimo rapporto qualità e prezzo. Simpatico e gentile anche l’oste. Complimenti

la qualità di tutto è ottima ma se cercate il classico ristorante con accoglienza standard non fa per voi, adatto a persone che vogliono sperimentare oltre che mangiar bene, e tornare in qualche modo al passato . Sono consapevole che il proprietario possa non essere simpatico a tutti gli va riconosciuta però, e secondo me preservata, la volontà di voler essere e restare un oste non un " semplice" ristoratore. se cercate un ristoratore andate altrove se entrate con la volontà oltre che di mangiare e bere bene, di fare un'esperienza diversa siate elastici, concedetegli il tempo di farsi conoscere e apprezzare così com'è. fantastica la cosa che si sieda al tavolo per raccogliere le ordinazioni con il suo bicchiere di vino, ottimi i suoi consigli sui piatti, mi è piaciuto anche molto che per l'antipasto ti porti il tagliere con tutto il salame che tagli da solo , io ci torno .
