La Vecchia Londra, on Corso Inghilterra, is a place I've been going to for 40 years. Partly because it's close to home and partly because it's had several owners over the years, but the food remains consistently good. In the early years, it was a very basic restaurant run by Neapolitans: the pizza was better than Cit Turin. Then, it was renovated and now it looks more like a French brasserie. The pizzas are excellent, with many varieties. The à la carte menu is also well-curated. The last time I went there, I had a pizza with gorgonzola and walnuts and a bunet for dessert. Everything was delicious. There are quite a few people who go there alone because it's a welcoming place and the prices are affordable. For me, it's a bit like being at home. The staff is very friendly.

Don't be fooled by the fact that it's run by Asians. They serve traditional Italian cuisine, and they do it better than many others, even Italian ones. They're truly excellent, attentive, fast, and precise. My son is celiac, and they were very thorough. Everything was very reasonably priced. Go and see for yourself.

29/10/2025: Today I had lunch with our group of friends... on Fridays... we meet every Friday to walk together in the mountains and yesterday our friend Edo booked for 8 for lunch... let's say that if you're not from the area it's difficult to find without a GPS... but if you're in the area... it's really worth it... from the outside... it looks like a normal house... in fact I gave 3🌟 but inside it's very warm and familiar... it feels like being at home... they're very fast and kind.. the food is good, the place is spacious, warm... and a special mention for the bathroom... there are 3 men/women/men with disabilities, the anteroom is spacious with 2 sinks, if there's really one thing that's not right it's the parking... one part is asphalted and the other is narrow... but the problem is that there's a difference in height of about ten centimeters... and you can trip easily especially... at night, please fix it as soon as possible!
22/10/2025: Discreet restaurant. Friendly, bilingual welcome, generous, unpretentious cuisine. Excellent value for money.

24/10/2025: A small restaurant discovered almost by accident, but truly a surprise. The atmosphere is welcoming, familiar, and attentive, with the hostess—a lady with a sweet French accent—kind and smiling, making you feel immediately at ease. We started with two plates of homemade gnocchi: one with butter and aromatic herbs, intensely fragrant and delicate, the other with a tender and aromatic veal ragù. Authentic aromas and flavors, a true cuisine. For main courses, we had a melt-in-the-mouth Fassona beef stew, slowly cooked with herbs and wine, accompanied by golden, perfect organic potatoes with their skins, and a truly exquisite tartiflette—my first—with potatoes, onions, pancetta, cream, and Reblochon cheese, creamy and delicious just right. We drank half a liter of Chardonnay, water, and two coffees. About 30 euros each, a pleasure spent on authentic products and heartfelt cuisine. A simple yet thoughtful menu, with options for vegetarians and celiacs, ingredients sourced from local farms, and a clear focus on quality. In short: a cuisine that speaks of passion, authenticity, and local tradition. One of those places where a few things done well are worth more than a thousand frills. Highly recommended.
05/10/2025: Traditional dishes revisited with elegance and flavor: everything is delicious, and the family-run restaurant is extremely welcoming, friendly, and kind. I'll definitely be back: don't miss the pasta with butter and herbs, the tartiflette, the pistachio tiramisu, and the pear and almond cake. Selected local and organic products.
