Vecchia Londra In Torino

As a boy, I used to go to Vecchia Londra when it was a pub; now it's an excellent Italian restaurant and pizzeria. Run by a Chinese family, there's nothing Chinese about it except the super reasonable prices. The food is truly delicious, and the service is quick, even when the two-story restaurant with outdoor seating is packed. I've known the owner and her children since they were kids; they're truly lovely people. I recommend the seafood spaghetti en croute—a real treat!

I sometimes go there during my lunch break. You can order à la carte or the set menu of the day. I've always had great food, and the service is quick and efficient. Friendly staff.

The menu is very affordable, simple but well-cooked. Service is quick, attentive, and courteous. Run by very efficient Asian ladies.

We went as a couple, the place had a very pleasant atmosphere. We had a first course with courgettes, speck and saffron, which was very good. I ordered it again for the second course, I had grilled prawn skewers, hands down, among the best I've ever eaten (and I say this as a Sicilian). My partner had a rib-eye steak that was so tender it melted in your mouth. To finish, we shared a homemade crème brulee, which, needless to say, was sublime too. We left feeling full and smiling. This trattoria is a hidden gem, perfect for both a romantic dinner and if you want to grab a quick bite, as the service is excellent. The quality/price ratio is absolutely fair.

La Vecchia Londra is a typical Italian pizzeria-restaurant, run by very friendly, polite, and charming Chinese people. The food is excellent, and considering the quality/price ratio, there's nothing to complain about. The fish is excellent, as are the pizzas, farinata, desserts, and more. In short, for a casual lunch or dinner where you know you'll eat well, I highly recommend it!
