The Old Shop of Borghetto (VR). Elegant, intimate restaurant set in a pleasant village in the Veronese area. Exceptional service staff. Attentive, prompt and professional. The classic tortellini in broth are recommended... sweet and delicate compared to the traditional ones from Parma and Bologna. Well done. Boiled meats are recommended. Some cooked well, some not. Sublime sauces. Refined, retro environment... of very modest dimensions. Like being invited to the home of a fallen Venetian nobleman in his living room from the early 1900s. Enchanting.

If you come to Borghetto you can't miss eating here. The cuisine is sublime but even more so is the kindness and professionalism of all the staff. Highly recommended. The tortelli are delicious and the boiled meat completes the culinary experience like a diamond cherry on a haute patisserie cake

Storico ristorante del paese, la struttura è imponente e d'epoca, impossibile usare il cellulare perché non c'è campo ed è un bene perché così ti gusti la bellezza del posto e la bontà del cibo. Pasta e dolci fatti in casa buonissimi. Il personale è disponibile, gentile e il servizio è veloce. Lo consiglio veramente.

Se riuscite a prenotare per tempo un tavolo sulla terrazza che da sul Mincio, aggiungerete un qualcosa in più ad una esperienza culinaria comunque gradevole. Ci si approccia con una certa diffidenza a questo ristorante apparentemente "acchiappaturisti" ( ed in realtà un pò lo è), tuttavia sia la cucina che il servizio, malgrado il grande afflusso soprattutto di clientela straniera, riescono a mantenere un buon livello. Buoni e abbondanti quindi i salumi e i formaggi locali proposti nel classico tagliere, ottimo il tris di tortelli (prodotti in casa così come alcuni dei salumi) con i classici ripieni mantovani alla zucca e al brasato oltre ad altre scelte di ripieni disponibili...buoni anche i dolci con la classica rosa alla crema di mascarpone, la sbrisolona ed un buon tiramisu. Carta dei vini con proposta di vini locali di buona qualità a prezzo ragionevole. Conto forse un pò alto (50€ a testa), ma tutto sommato, considerando il periodo, è un dazio che si accetta volentieri. Grazie a Lorenzo, il cameriere che ci ha servito con professionalità e simpatia, consigliandoci per il meglio nella scelta dei piatti e contribuendo a farci trascorrere una piacevole serata.
