Valle Verde In Pievepelago

A mountain hotel that's a bit dated but well-maintained and clean. It has everything you need. The breakfast is good and plentiful. The staff is friendly and helpful. Excellent for skiing in Abetone or Le Polle/Cimone, or for visiting Lago Santo and Giovo, or the nearby village of Fiumalbo.

The price isn't commensurate with the property...too high! The room, for a double, was rather small, as was the shower... We couldn't get any hot water, even though we ran it; it remained lukewarm... Excellent cleanliness... The breakfast was good, but with limited selection. The location was good for going to Fiumalbo. The owners were very friendly and kind. Overall, however, if I were to return, I would stay here again, hoping for a slightly larger room.
