We were both for dinner during the walk of the silent villages and for the New Year's Eve dinner. The food is excellent, the wine is good, the welcome and hospitality of the Egidi family is very cordial. Recommended for walking and otherwise, they also offer a pilgrim menu, which is plentiful, upon reservation.

an absolute raw diamond in the umbria gourmet landscape. the restaurant is small and very welcoming. the owners are the definition of great hospitality. apart from the a la carte menu they offer seasonal specialities, combined with fantastic wines from the region and beyond. an absolut must to visit if you are into authentic umbrian cuisine, even if you have to drive from Rome or Florence to enjoy this great place, it’s worth it. reservation is recommended

I stopped in the village of Morre for the stage of the Cammino dei Borghi silenti and I came here for dinner! I booked the pilgrim's menu and ate a lot and very well! I chose the vegetarian menu and they served me a plate of very good and super abundant vegetable lasagne, as was the second course. A kind of focaccia with cheese and cooked vegetables. Very good everything.

Nato per valorizzare la tradizione locale di salumi e piatti poveri, sta pienamente riuscendo nell'intento; di pari passo propone vini e birre locali, che vanno a completare un quadro culinario ottimo. Buonissima la panzanella ed anche l'insalata di fave tiepida (ha un nome specifico che non ricordo ...). Con il locale pieno, il servizio ha avuto comunque i tempi corretti. I camerieri sono disponibili e offrono anche una chiacchiera, che non fa mai male. A qualcuno potrebbe dar fastidio che ogni tanto girano tra i tavoli i gatti che vivono in zona: a noi ha dato maggior fastidio che, per diverse volte, uno dei gestori abbia tentato di allontanarli con modi bruschi (ma niente di che). Prezzi ottimi.

Ristorante in cui c’è l’impegno ma i risultati potrebbero essere migliori. Passata una discreta sera con piatti discreti (anche se leggermente pesanti, vedasi gli hamburger) ma attesa eccessiva delle portate. Probabilmente la serata con tanti camminatori provenienti dal cammino dei borghi silenti ha mandato in tilt il servizio. Rapporto qualità prezzo arriva al 6 o poco più. Ottimo il tagliere, che consiglio. Faccio un grosso in bocca al lupo ai giovani gestori
