We only ate there. The interior design was different. Interesting! We ate outside, however. Unfortunately, there was no paper menu – even when requested. You can only make a selection using your own smartphone or something similar. Unfortunately, we were given a dirty, sticky table. Service was unmotivated, even though there were only six tables occupied. The food (pizza, burgers, dessert) wasn't quite to our taste. While it would have been tasty, the portions would have been too small for the price. Unfortunately, out of five evenings in Rome, this was, for us personally, the worst choice overall.

Food is served in very small portions and not even great, staff was rude and they charged us for the water that they brought to the table without saying it was on the house

We only tried the restaurant, not the accommodation. The Tiramisu was indeed something different! The added some biscuits as a twist.

This review is about the restaurant only. We had dinner here last night and the food was very good especially the bruschetta which is unbelievably awesome. Our service was a little slow to get water and wine ordered and then it took a very long time to get the water. Waitstaff were friendly though and the food is still outstanding by any city's standards, it's just that in Rome this can't be quite a 5 star for me.

Fabulous little side walk restaurant. Just we needed after a hot walk to the Colosseum. Service friendly food great and simple. Quaint location. What’s not to like?

Le restaurant est beau et les plats sont bons mais les quantités sont vraiment minimes au contraire des tarifs. Nous sommes ressortis avec la faim malheureusement. Points positifs : on trouve des repas sans gluten et sans lactose Nota : Frais de 2.50 € par personne pour le service

Restaurant style "atelier". personnel sympathique et qui fait l'effort de parler français. Plats un peu originaux et bien cuisinés. Passé un bon moment. On recommande.

11/06/2025: We had dinner at Favilla on Sunday, June 1st: during a weekend as tourists in Rome, we couldn’t miss one of the most recommended pizzerias in the San Giovanni neighborhood, where we were staying. The place was packed, but despite the crowd we were welcomed with great cordiality by Giulia, who immediately served us drinks and took our order for appetizers and wine, giving us the time we needed to calmly choose the pizzas. Hungry, we started with a croquette, a supplì and the flower and anchovy ravioli: the fried foods were crunchy, light and dry, while maintaining a nice consistency. Honorable mention for the croquette — a small masterpiece: a potato origami with a stringy heart of pecorino and bacon. Warning: it’s addictive! For the pizzas we chose one with aubergines and the “pummarola”, with cherry tomatoes, stracciatella and anchovies. Typically “scrocchiarelle”, as Roman tradition dictates, they were both well-seasoned and made with top-quality ingredients. It’s just a shame we didn’t have enough space to try the desserts too… but we’ll certainly have a great excuse to come back!
