Umami Gastrobar In Parma

Excellent welcome, first choice cold meats as well as the pizzas. Thank you for the water for the dogs.

Two of us ate using a smartbox package. We took a Parma platter and a Piacenza platter, a giardiniera and two glasses of wine. All served with bread and focaccia. The quality of the cured meats is truly exceptional. The waiters are very kind and the management very professional. In fact, the place no longer had an agreement with Smartbox, but it was listed in the company's catalogue. The owner, to resolve the misunderstanding, offered us dinner with great elegance. Advised!!!

Il locale è molto carino, bella l'atmosfera soprattutto perché i camerieri sono gentilissimi e super disponibili. Ci hanno accolto con il sorriso e lo hanno mantenuto durante tutto il nostro pranzo. Abbiamo avuto l'occasione di assaggiare piatti deliziosi, prodotti ricercati e buonissimi. Il conto decisamente abbordabile e siamo usciti a panza piena. Lo consiglio vivamente e tornerò senz'altro quando sarò a Parma.

The place is very nice, the atmosphere is nice especially because the waiters are very kind and super helpful. They welcomed us with a smile and kept it throughout our lunch. We had the opportunity to taste delicious dishes, refined and delicious products. The bill was definitely affordable and we left with full bellies. I highly recommend it and will definitely return when I'm in Parma.

We ate here on our first night in Parma, it was suggested in the welcome information we received at the apartment we rented. The recommendation said it had good food, friendly atmosphere, and the staff treats you like family. The recommendation was 1000% correct. There were two staff we encountered, they both were kind and inviting. They helped us figure out what to drink as far as wine and beer and were amazing when it came to food. We mentioned it was our first meal in Parma and they made sure to bring us a wonderful selection of local specialties. The pancetta melted in my mouth like butter, the Parma ham had the best smoky flavor, and the cheeses were amazing. I almost forgot about the polenta, perfectly salted and served with honey or a fantastic dill sauce that reminded me of tartar but much better. Everything was very reasonably priced and I highly recommend this little slice of heaven!
