Typical Apulian cuisine, and as a true Apulian, I must admit that everything in this restaurant is top-notch. At the end of each course, the owner always offers a platter with several types of dessert.

Fantastic Apulian dinner. Everything was delicious and plentiful. The staff was welcoming and friendly. Panzerotti, stracciatella, puntarelle with anchovies, eggplant parmigiana, orecchiette with turnip tops, bombette, Apulian focaccia, and cartellate. Excellent value. Thank you.

Of the Trotter where the horses trotted (a decent little setting, the kind that would have made Bukowsky happy), two things remain: the memory and the Trotter-restaurant (which would also have made Bukowsky happy, albeit for more edifying reasons). The best rib-eye steak in Milan? I don't know and I don't care to know: I've been going there for at least 35 years and always order it... And, as usual, I always leave happy and satisfied, as do my friends. In short: 35 years without ever failing: excellent quality, excellent value, a slightly dated place, but one that an '80s nostalgic will definitely love. Friendly and very efficient service. The only sign of the times: parking, which has become a bit of a problem (as is the case throughout the city).

Sono stata oggi stesso a pranzo al ristorante Trotter a Milano.Riassumo in poche parole: eccellente rapporto qualità/prezzo. Pesce fresco e ottimamente cucinato. Spaghetti con cozze il cui sapore mi ha fatto sentire “a casa”. Eccellente ospitalità e cura per il cliente. CONSIGLIATISSIMO!!!!

19/01/2026: It's our Sunday lunch ritual. The dishes are always a sure thing, and the staff is courteous and attentive.
06/01/2026: The appetizer buffet was good, as was the baked pasta timbale, and the sausage with caciocavallo cheese. The wine was good. The service was a bit repetitive.
