Trotter In Milano

I came here on foot when I arrived in Milan because I was staying in the neighborhood. The two owners, Lucia and Michele, were super nice and very welcoming. I arrived at lunchtime with all my bags and ate a delicious Milanese ribeye steak. They offered me service and dessert! I met my parents in Milan who were passing through as they were doing a European cycling tour, and the evening of my departure, I took them there to eat to introduce them to this delicious, typical Italian restaurant. The atmosphere was incredible; the restaurant was full! The owners recognized me and were very friendly and welcoming. They even offered us dessert! I highly recommend this restaurant. At lunchtime, the atmosphere is quite calm and friendly, and in the evening, the service is enthusiastic and fast! The dishes are delicious and the portions are very generous. The pizzas are also delicious and very affordable! A big thank you to Lucia and Michele for their exceptional welcome and warm smiles! Clearly one of the best places in Milan!

I've been coming here for almost 40 years. They're always the same. Friendly, polite, and the food is excellent. Top!

The best in Milan, meat, fish, you can never go wrong.

If you're going for pizza, I recommend changing places. From the look of it, you could tell it wouldn't be good, and the taste, unfortunately, confirmed that impression: undercooked, with low-quality ingredients and no flavor. It would be helpful to list the ingredients on the menu, not just the names. The first courses, however, are decent. The atmosphere is rather chaotic, trattoria-style, but the prices are anything but. Finally, the staff: the owner seemed in a bad mood and quite nervous, an attitude shared by the waiters. There's a tense atmosphere that doesn't make you feel at ease. Even the lady at the cash register didn't help the overall impression.

Cena del sabato sera. Il locale è un po' datato, una bella ristrutturazione ci starebbe bene, aggiungendo pannelli fonoassorbenti, il rumore è veramente troppo. Qualità e preparazione del cibo buona, porzioni super abbondanti, un piatto potrebbe essere sufficiente per due persone. Servizio un po' caotico, forse perché la maggioranza del personale è straniero e non capisce bene l'italiano, forse perché i tavoli sono tanti e molto vicini e si crea confusione generale. Prezzi conguri per la qualità e per essere a Milano. Sicuramente ci tornerò.

Pranzo domenicale al trotter è sempre una garanzia... antipasti abbondanti e molto buoni.... consiglio sicuramente i primi piatti tutti eccellenti ...
