The best pizza I've ever eaten (Pizza Canadian) The steak was also delicious. Friendly staff, good location in the tropical courtyard. Recommended!

This is by far the best restaurant I've seen in Sardinia so far! Suitable for meat eaters and vegetarians. The food is so damn delicious. Unlike the restaurants in downtown Pula, the staff are good, they approach you directly, offer you a table even without a reservation, and are always friendly. They all speak very good English, and you can pay by card. The ambiance is very nice. Plants, palm trees, and grass everywhere. It's a shame I didn't go there much earlier; unfortunately, I only have two days left in Sardinia! Prices are completely reasonable. 100/10

Nel Tropical Garden trovi un ambiente accogliente e familiare che ci ha permesso di trascorrere sempre delle belle serate in compagnia e con tanto divertimento.

We are satisfied with the lunch based on fresh fish: small boiled octopus seasoned with lemon and local oil + grilled sea bass. Fast and attentive service. The well-kept garden creates a pleasant atmosphere

Dopo qualche tempo sono andata nuovamente al tropical per il battesimo di mio nipotino. Che dire super accoglienza. Aperitivo buonissimo. Cena squisita. Grande varietà di antipasti, primi , secondi, amari e caffè. Bellissimo il tavolo apparecchiato e anche quello delle bomboniere. Signor Giuliano e la moglie sempre super gentili e accoglienti. Le ragazze che hanno servito al tavolo impeccabili, super attente e gentilissime. Anche questa volta il mio voto è 10.

22/07/2025: We reserved a table via WhatsApp and received confirmation. However, when we arrived at the restaurant, no one knew about our reservation. We were lucky and there was still a table available. We had the mixed grill and the spaghetti scoliglo. The timing of the two chefs was perfect and we were able to eat together. The spaghetti was delicious, albeit a bit salty. Also, in my opinion, they skimped a bit on the seafood. Unfortunately, the grill was dry and tough, except for the piece of beef, so about half of it was uneatable. The side dish, in our case a salad, is charged extra and is served without sauce. You can make your own using oil, vinegar, and a little salt. Unfortunately, the service is a bit disorganized and you sometimes have to wait a long time before you can place your order or the food is cleared away.

25/06/2025: I had been chasing this restaurant for a long time and finally managed to book a table. The location is suggestive, in the heart of the La Marina neighborhood, the minimalist and well-kept restaurant, we ate at a table outside in the open air, immersed in the pedestrian traffic of tourists that makes you feel like you're on vacation. The service was attentive without being intrusive, the timing was right and the quality of the food was remarkable. We ate the aubergines, the pizzudos di Ovodda, the mutton steaks with sautéed chard and the cannonau stew, two glasses of wine and water, to finish a sebada and a coffee... the bill was a very happy surprise! I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to experience and get to know another culinary aspect of Sardinia, a small mountain gem nestled between the marine rocks represented by the other restaurants that all look a little alike with a few valid exceptions. The owner did a great job in fact the restaurant was full. My heartfelt compliments.
08/06/2025: What a wonderful and delicious place. Located in a small street, where you can choose to sit out- or inside. The menu is focused on meat dishes or pastas. Unfortunately we couldn't taste all of the options but the ones we had were exceptional. The combination of flavors from the antipasti till dolci, are so good and well balanced. Our waitress recommended a local red wine which paired excellently with both dishes. A great place to go and taste Sardegna. Recommend 100% 🫶
