Tre Rose In Calitri

Already 6/7 years ago the "cannazze", accompanied by the meat with which the sauce was made, were already one of my and my colleagues' favorite dishes. A bowl of pasta for two and off you go! We left with a smile. Now, however, it seems impossible to succeed. About 4/5 times in the last year we have tried to call, to go there, but bad luck haunts us. We even made detours of 50/100 km to taste our favorite pasta but nothing! Or we found it closed. Or no one answered the phone. Or it was open but it was full and no one had answered the phone to tell us. I believe that a little more careful social and telephone management is needed given that looking at Google maps and the various social networks in the days in which we went there there was no news of the closure. Like a few Saturdays ago when, in addition to having driven an hour to get there, after finding it closed, we had to travel another 45 minutes to go to the only place that had free tables 35 km from there. Yet it takes 2 seconds to change a time on Google maps.

Exceptional, everything good, excellent service

End of November 2024, welcoming trattoria, with the owner taking the orders, three people ordered a cane dish and, ravioli with pecorino, chops and pork rinds in sauce, side dishes, chips cut into slices and chicory sautéed in the pan, a single glass of water of wine, and for dessert 3 ricotta and pear, all really good, an experience to be repeated.

Pleasant place, perfect service, good and plentiful typical dishes, except for starters and side dishes which were still good. I recommend the ravioli and cannazze with Calitrano ragù.
