A very cozy place. We had a dinner there: some donkey and horse meat ragu, some wine and sweets. There a lot of local traditional pastas and risottos. For some reason, there are quite a lot of "unusual" meat in Veronese cuisine (like donkey meat), and the menu of thos restaurant is filled with that. The overall experience was pleasant but I wouldn't say it was the best restaurant I have visited in Verona.

Dinner on December 26th. We ordered bruschetta... delicious!!! Tomato and pancetta 😍 Followed by two risottos, one with chestnut, the other with gorgonzola and walnuts... delicious!!!

Traditional Venetian dishes, from Verona, like the risottos, are the strong points of this simple but delicious, non-touristy, quality trattoria. I would definitely go back!

17/02/2026: Possibly the best gluten-free pizza I've ever had. The staff is attentive and elegant, yet always friendly. It's always worth returning. Every ingredient and its preparation are top-quality, even beyond the gluten-free specialties.
04/01/2026: Welcoming place, very friendly staff. We were served crostini topped with locally produced olive oil. The pizza was very good, with top-quality ingredients. For dessert, we had gelato made on-site. Recommended.

Osteria al Pescatore

01/03/2026: They opened today after the winter break, and we went right away. As always, the food was excellent, the freshest fish, and the service was perfect. We've already booked for Easter. Whenever we come to Lake Garda, we can't miss lunch or dinner at this restaurant. Seeing is believing.
29/12/2025: Wonderful experience, among so many commercial places it certainly stands out for its quality!!
