A welcoming, quiet, and clean atmosphere awaits you in a renovated and tastefully furnished building, with meticulous attention to detail and two elegant and beautifully appointed dining rooms. Excellent cuisine with fresh and delicious dishes, always beautifully presented. Refined dishes made with carefully selected, high-quality ingredients, from appetizers to desserts, are all truly delicious and served with kindness, helpfulness, and professionalism. The selection of wines and sparkling wines is also noteworthy. Recommended restaurant.

An excellent restaurant with just a few tables, managed with precision and order by the waiters. Local cuisine is revisited and interpreted with skill. It's truly a pleasant experience and definitely worth a try. The price is reasonable considering the excellent quality of the place.

17/01/2026: Good pizza, and a simple atmosphere. The 4 stars are because the desserts were too sweet and the decaf coffee I had was the worst I've ever had; it was watered down.

(May 2025) After reading dozens of reviews before our trip, Gelato Marco was the clear winner… and it completely lived up to the hype! The queue stretching down Via Malcanton is the first clue you’re in the right place. Creamy, intense flavours (the pistachio is pure green gold, the chocolate extra-dark and decadent, the fruit sorbets taste like they were made five minutes ago). Generous portions, friendly service even when it’s packed, and prices that feel almost too fair for this quality. We were 4 and tried 10 flavours – every single one was perfection. If you only have gelato once in Trieste, make it here. Worth every second of the wait!
