An "urban" trattoria that has everything Brescian about it and more... and what more could you ask for than the owner, Chef?
From the menu, which opens with a recitation of a poem by Carducci, and continues with a presentation of traditional dishes that, above all, reveal themselves to be the chef's handmade creations... from the puntarelle revisited "Bresciana" by the chef, to the first courses with delicious sauces and homemade pasta, to the noteworthy second courses (try the homemade cotechino).
What can I say? The cuisine expresses itself through passion and a desire to win over diners with its authentic, homemade character.
Note the restaurant's personal style, characteristic of that touch of "good memories" that touch the soul, along with its dishes!

Spectacular food, from appetizers to desserts! The unusual ice cream flavors were particularly intriguing... we tried the basil and ginger one and it was delicious! The service was also excellent; everyone was very friendly.

Excellent experience. The atmosphere was top-notch, as was the service. The girl who served me (Sara, sorry if I got my name wrong) was able to recommend excellent wines. Reservations are highly recommended, as there aren't many tables.

An incredible restaurant. The quality of the food is outstanding, and the flavors are brought to their fullest expression. The wine cellar is simply overwhelming, with an endless selection of wines from all over the world. Host Federico is always on top of things and knows how to recommend the best for your chosen dishes. Chef Savino takes you on a journey through the history of the dishes, the cured meats, and the provenance of each ingredient. The appetizers are breathtaking, the first courses will leave you speechless, the second courses will make your mouth water just reading about them on the menu, and the desserts... oh my... the basil and ginger ice cream... speechless.

The dishes were exquisite. We had both first and second courses, and I couldn't say which were the best. The staff was courteous and attentive to detail, making you feel pampered. A gem in the heart of Brescia ♥️

Un po’ già si capiva dal portoncino con gli adesivi sui vetri, e dalla sala con i pilastri e gli archi, delicatamente affiancati dai tavoli non appariscenti. Insomma, ero tranquillo di essere cascato bene per questa cena casuale in una sera che passo a Brescia per lavoro.
Eppure sono stato sorpreso due volte.
La prima da un’insalata di puntarelle completamente diversa, con la verdura trattata diversamente da come l’avessi mai mangiata, e il pane croccante con l’olio, la giusta acidità.
Poi è arrivato un risotto squisito con un formaggio prodotto con lo zafferano (me l’ha spiegato e la mia memoria mi tradisce) e funghi porcini a tocchetti.
Soddisfazioni, per un vegetariano.
