Dinner, 4 people. Without beating around the bush, it hands down deserves 5 stars just because I can't give it more! Pleasant place, excellent dishes and all well cooked; perfect wine list for any pairing. The staff is very kind and courteous. Last but not least: the owner. He fits the role of chef and wine sommelier perfectly and is able to describe, with authentic passion, what the cellar and the kitchen offer! Highly recommended, absolutely worth it!

Il locale è bellissimo e antico, con il soffitto a volte. Il proprietario (storico) è molto affabile, anche perché uno della nostra compagnia è cliente abituale.
Avevo già sentito parlare di piatti locali, ma un piatto di quartiere è stato per me una novità... novità veramente squisita, segno di una ricerca e di una cura degne di nota.
Ottimi anche i dolci.
Da ritornarci assolutamente.

Saturday Two of us had dinner in this restaurant located in the heart of Brescia.
We ate a cheese board accompanied by a fantastic fig jam, a pear and plum jam and some honey which went very well with the freshest cheeses.
After the appetizer we had a plate of spaghetti carbonara and a plate of paccheri with wild boar ragù, all accompanied by a fantastic glass of wine recommended by the owner. What more can I say? If you are near Brescia and want good, quality food then this place is for you.

We were passing through Brescia and by chance we stopped to have dinner at "Mangiafuoco" and for us it was a nice surprise. Food, environment and staff all excellent. Thank you so much for the lovely evening spent in your venue.

Trattoria storica tra i vicoli del centro. Location semplice e informale. Personale gentile e simpatico. Porzioni fin troppo abbondanti, abbiamo diviso le polente come antipasto (consigliato). Il controfiletto non ci ha convinti, risultava troppo asciutto. Guancialino con polenta buono, promosso anche il dessert con le mele. Buonissimo il vino Fausto.
