Trattoria Tschigg In Marlengo

We cycled up from Lana on our bikes without an E. Arriving at Tschigg, we were greeted by an incredibly friendly innkeeper, who was both a chef and a waiter. The meal of Kaiserschmarren (sweet pancakes) and noodle soup was delicious 😋 The view is wonderful. The stop was worth every drop of sweat; we'd gladly return.

A place where everything just fits! The host was exceptionally friendly and welcomed us with genuine South Tyrolean warmth. The selection of dishes was diverse – from hearty classics to seasonal specialties. My personal highlight: the freshly picked chanterelle mushrooms with tagliatelle pasta – an absolute delight! The taste was incomparable – intense, aromatic, and natural. You can taste the love and skill that goes into the cooking here. Plus, a unique view over the valley – simply stunning. Whether for a stop after a hike or as a destination for a relaxing break: highly recommended!

We stopped there on our hike along the Marlinger Höhenweg (High Trail). The view from the terrace was fantastic. The food was generously sized, fairly priced, and very tasty. We can wholeheartedly recommend it.

We cycled here. Friendly service, good selection, cozy atmosphere. We only had drinks, so unfortunately we can't comment on the food. But the view... Hallelujah 👌🤩 Definitely worth the climb. A stunning view over Merano and the entire valley. Simply amazing!!!

Absolutely stunning views! The food is regional, fresh, and homemade. The service, provided by the owner himself, is authentic, friendly, and competent. The select wines are locally sourced. Dogs are welcome. The driveway has a few switchbacks, but the road is in excellent condition. It's always worth coming back here!

There's only one word for this restaurant: OUTSTANDING! A very friendly host who's happy to stop by for a chat. Food and drinks of exceptional quality and at extremely fair prices in a prime location with a stunning view. If you don't stay here, it's your own fault!

Florian en zijn vader exploiteren boven op de Marlinger berg een restaurant/berghut waar de Qualität am Berg voor op staat. Fantastisch uitzicht op het buitenterras, goede bediening en kwaliteit op zowel eten als drinken is een pré. Je voelt je direct thuis bij hen😊😊
