Very nice restaurant. Service and food were excellent. I'd be happy to go again.

We cycled here. Friendly service, good selection, cozy atmosphere. We only had drinks, so unfortunately we can't comment on the food. But the view... Hallelujah 👌🤩 Definitely worth the climb. A stunning view over Merano and the entire valley. Simply amazing!!!

Absolutely stunning views! The food is regional, fresh, and homemade. The service, provided by the owner himself, is authentic, friendly, and competent. The select wines are locally sourced. Dogs are welcome. The driveway has a few switchbacks, but the road is in excellent condition. It's always worth coming back here!

There's only one word for this restaurant: OUTSTANDING! A very friendly host who's happy to stop by for a chat. Food and drinks of exceptional quality and at extremely fair prices in a prime location with a stunning view. If you don't stay here, it's your own fault!

Florian en zijn vader exploiteren boven op de Marlinger berg een restaurant/berghut waar de Qualität am Berg voor op staat. Fantastisch uitzicht op het buitenterras, goede bediening en kwaliteit op zowel eten als drinken is een pré. Je voelt je direct thuis bij hen😊😊

We visited the inn at the beginning of May. We were served personally by the owner, a very personable and friendly man. Based on a recommendation, we ordered roast goat and a dumpling trio. Our expectations were more than exceeded. The food was fantastic. On top of that, we were given a free shot of schnapps, which made the descent into the valley more digestible. 😂 The view from the terrace is also fantastic. Therefore, we highly recommend it, and we'll be back...

Beautiful location, hearty dishes and traditional South Tyrolean flavours. They are also renowned for their asparagus production.

Wonderful inn in a fantastic ambience. A menu with South Tyrolean dishes, everyone at the table was really enthusiastic!  South Tyrolean food is used wherever possible. Partly from our own cultivation (asparagus, vegetables, etc.) or our own production (yoghurt). Vegetables and other things come from Marlinger Berg (km 0). Other things come from South Tyrolean mountain farms and the meat comes from a South Tyrolean butcher. The landlord and the waiter are extremely friendly and accommodating, warm and inspire with South Tyrolean charm. The view is fantastic and worth every meter of altitude. Recommendation from Marlinger Waldschenke take the Waalweg to the north and climb up via Senn am Egg. 400 m ascent.
