Panoramic point over the Merano basin, beautiful.....

Small, fine inn with a fantastic view from high above over the Adige Valley and Merano. A very nice innkeeper offers local dishes from a not completely overloaded menu. This is complemented by changing weekly dishes. Probably due to its location high on the hill and the access with numerous hairpin bends along the narrow road, the inn is not as crowded as most others in this region. This means you can usually come in without a reservation. For me an absolute must every time you visit this area!

Beautiful guest house. Went up by car. Authentic stube with spectacular views over Meran/Marling and the wine and apple orchards. Delicious food. Simple regional dishes. Very friendly hospitable owner. Top.

It is now a fixed stop every time we come to Merano. The place is not for everyone but it will appeal to anyone looking for something different from the ordinary. Excellent food and lovely view.
