Came here while traveling alone through Milan from America. The server was very kind, and the pasta was absolutely to die for. Highly recommend for a wonderful dining experience

Very welcoming and nice location, excellent staff and service and even really good. Absolutely worth a try if you want to eat good Sicilian cuisine. I recommend the pasta with sea urchins

Location molto accogliente e carina , personale e servizio ottimi e fino davvero davvero buono.da provare assolutamente se si vuole mangiare una buona cucina sicula . Consiglio la pasta con i ricci

As far as I have tried, it does not reflect Sicilian culinary cuisine, but I do not judge the restaurant's rating from here (if a dish is good and does not adhere to the original traditional recipe, it matters little in my opinion). Beyond this we found the cuisine to be unsatisfactory. Beccafico sardines absolutely not well prepared, good cuttlefish stew, good linguine, aubergines, clams and bottarga, mediocre stuffed squid, below average Sicilian cassata (semi-dry) inside, external sugar icing half a centimeter thick and very hard). Average price and appreciable courtesy.

Eravamo in tre adulti, e tutti abbiamo apprezzato tutto: la cortesia, il servizio, il cibo, il vino. Siamo stati coccolati, pur essendo a loro degli sconosciuti. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente. Lo consigliamo a chi, come me, sa apprezzare, oltre che alla buona cucina e la buona cantina, anche i dettagli.

17/12/2024: La proposta a pranzo può essere valida legata al fatto che il prezzo è contenuto. A cena mi aspettavo qualcosa di più. Antipasti gradevoli ma con tanta verdura al posto del pesce, assaggio di primi piatti di discreta fattura, dolenti note nei secondi (fritto pieno di sarde, anche se espressamente chiesto di non averne) dove le porzioni sono minime. Vino sfuso, almeno nel nostro caso non è stato proposto altro. Se a pranzo il prezzo è contenuto, a cena si paga nella media, anche se la proposta è ridotta e il “companatico” al minimo.

AranGino - Arancin* Street Food

24/02/2025: I love arancini so popped by on my first evening in Milan after exploring nearby shops and churches. I had two for my dinner, the prosciutto cotta and scamorza, and the mortadella, straciatella and pistachio. They were cooked freshly to order, and the outside was really crisp and not greasy at all. They were very delicious and really warming and filling on a cold February evening. I ate in and it was quiet and pleasant. My only criticism was the two were very similar, I could only tell the difference due to the small pistachio specks in one, but to be honest, they were still scrumptious so can't say I minded too much. Recommended!
19/12/2024: I bought three arancini, 2 with meat sauce and one with ham and scamorza. The consistency of the arancini was excellent (crispy and not very greasy) but what was wrong was the poor seasoning even if it was of good quality and a good dose of saffron and a good rice (the ham and scamorza one was tastier); furthermore the arancini are small compared to the classic ones. So in my opinion the size of the arancina (larger) and the quantity of the seasoning (more abundant) need to be improved. On the positive side, the quality of the ingredients, the consistency of the arancina and the fact that they are fried when ordering. The cost of 3.5 is average for Milan. The guy at the shop was kind. The place is small but sober.
