Excellent restaurant in Portovenere's main square. Dishes are well-prepared, both in quality and quantity. It's lovely in the summer with outdoor seating, though service is a little slow. But I think that when you sit down to eat, you also enjoy the company of your companions.

In the little square of Porto Venere, with the sea in the background, a wonderful location. We ate excellent appetizers, special fried food, crispy but not greasy, with truly delicious carrots. Delicious desserts, definitely worth trying! Compliments for everything.

A lovely restaurant in the small square of Porto Venere. Excellent food, but the service needs to improve, as it's excessively slow on everything, from the dishes to the bill. The 4 stars are because it's a real shame to ruin everything because of the wait, but it should be lowered.

Food was okay, but it was very slow. Seems they are really lacking of staff. Been to northern Italy for 2 weeks, been to 2 restaurants everyday, the Coperto of this restaurant was the most expensive - 5 euros per person , including kids. Even a Michelin restaurant charges 3 euros per head, some restaurants don’t count my two kids at all.

We waited a very long time to be served. The trofie al pesto is good, but it's expensive for what it is (€18 for a primi piatti). Nice terrace though.

We'd been here a couple of years ago. We came back for the quality of the food.
I'm sorry to have to point out the interminable wait times: you can't sit down at 7:45 PM (with the place practically empty) and get up at 9:45 PM having only eaten one course each and a shared appetizer.
We're talking about a mixed appetizer, a pasta dish, a portion of fries, and a mixed fried fish... as much as we care about the preparation and attention to detail, I'm sorry, but I can't justify it.
I repeat, the quality of the food was very good, but the endless wait really got to us.
Next time, we'll go elsewhere.
