Dico la verità, quando ho visto i tavolini spartani di questo ristorante piazzati in mezzo a una graziosa piazzetta nel cuore del mercato del Capo ho pensato a una trappola per turisti stranieri bella e buona. E' quasi sempre così: i posti in bella posizione si accontentano dei clienti che arrivano grazie a questa 'fortuna'. E infatti c'erano alcuni stranieri.Immaginate la sorpresa quando ho scoperto una cucina siciliana saporita, ben fatta e con un tocco di creatività, un servizio gentile e un prezzo giusto. Lode agli spaghetti ai ricci di mare, ma anche le polpette al pesce spada erano eccezionali.

This place is amazing!!!!!!! Tony and Paolo are the best!!! They were like family!!! Paolo took us in before they opened the restaurant and cooked meals for 6 people! Wow wow wow the food was AMAZING!

Crowded, hot, noisy, no proper menu. You choose your food by looking. You don't know the price. You go for local flavors. If you are a clean enthusiast and meticulous person, you will have a hard time. The bill comes hand written on a piece of paper. We paid 49 euros for two people, two large red mullets, one small calamari and papalina plate, one potato outside and pork inside and risotto filled orange sized stuffed meatballs, two slices of fried cheese and garden eggplant, one thick slice of fried cheese and dough, a bottle of water and a 500 ml beer.

This place was recommended to us, we went on a Tuesday night and the atmosphere was nice, in this little square lit up by the lights. Too bad for the rude service, they didn't even smile at us, half of the things on the menu were missing, almost annoyed by our presence. The food was very good though (the swordfish could have been more abundant) price ok
