I'm local, but I confess I wasn't familiar with this place. I discovered it thanks to a business dinner a few days ago.
I tried the cured meats appetizer, followed by a selection of cheeses accompanied by mustards and jams.
The final highlight? The dessert trolley, simply spectacular.

A well-maintained restaurant, excellent service, and friendly staff. The traditional food is excellent in every way, from appetizers to main courses. The dessert selection is simply breathtaking! I highly recommend it and will be back soon to try other delicacies.

A must-try when I'm in the Mantua area... always a sure thing, spectacular riso alla pilota with melt-in-the-mouth chips... impeccable service and incredibly friendly service. The dessert trolley is out of this world, that alone would be enough to make me want to go there... kudos to you, I've been going there since 2015, the year my friend Dino introduced me to it... I'll be back as soon as possible.

We went to Trattoria Stazione in Castel d'Ario, and as always, it was a delight! We tried the riso alla pilota and the pumpkin tortelli: both delicious, with authentic and genuine flavors. The rice was so good, it was impossible not to order more! We accompanied everything with some simple but perfectly cooked and very flavorful vegetables.
We're from Bologna, but every time we're in the area, we can't help but stop here: a place that's always worth a visit, for the quality of the cuisine and the welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!
