We are already off on the wrong foot because they can't find our reservation, but they quickly resolve it and seat us. We decide on fried calamari and side dishes. We are told that the draft beer is warm and they recommend the bottled one, it must be said that it was good. On the other hand, calamari are decent, chips are terrible, potatoes "in tecia" watered down with too much garlic and spinach loaded with cheese so much that it covers the taste (I wonder why!). Positive note the coolness under the trees. Average price but from the reviews I expected much better.

A triumph! Excellent first courses, abundant and very tasty second courses, divine prosecco, kind service, excellent prices, cool and pleasant terrace, powerful bitters.

We were hesitant to stop or not, but luckily we did because we ate so well! The appetizer, Urbenes salata, is a creamy cheese with peppers and garlic, truly delicious! The fried calamari is one of the best I've ever eaten, even the patate in tecia are exquisite. To finish, an excellent tiramisu! Water and sparkling white wine. For two we spent less than 60 euros. What can I say, we left full and satisfied.

La trattoria effettua orario continuato da mattina a sera. Ambiente ampio, con un bel giardino; ubicazione sulla strada principale, nel centro del paese; classica trattoria cittadina in Carso, con stile semplice un po’ demodé. Recensione riferita ad una cena di 3 amici nel maggio 2024. Abbiamo speso sui 30 euro a testa. Porzioni grandi, ottimo cibo, tovaglia di carta, menù macchiato, parmigiano in bustine. Consiglio i cevapcici (ottima carne morbida, ma senza aglio), cipolla cruda, ajvar, patate in tecia calde e autentiche; oppure il pollo disossato grigliato. Riguardo i dessert, delizioso e artigianale lo strudel caldo; sconsiglio invece il trancio alla frutta: la base aveva un impasto poco cotto e la panna era stucchevole. Buona la birra chiara; consiglio inoltre il tipico liquore di terrano!
