Trattoria Serghei In Bologna

A lovely, very small trattoria. Nice atmosphere. Really good pasta. Salad was okay. Service was quick and friendly.

Neighbourhood vibe, delicious food! We were lucky to get a table for lunch. It’s also in a slightly less crowded part of town, so was lovely to walk around the area.

The service was friendly enough, but the atmosphere and quality felt fairly standard for the price point. It’s a reliable spot if you’re in the area, though it didn't quite stand out from the local competition.

A wonderful family-run restaurant. All the staff are very friendly and all the food is delicious. Despite speaking no Italian, they were just as friendly, happy to speak in English. It is in a great location, only a short 5-10 walk from Piazza Maggiore (the main square) and Neptune’s fountain. It can be a bit hard to find the entrance, but it is worth it! It is hard to tell about noise level and other factors as we were sitting on the table at the front before the rest of the seating. We didn’t book, just walked in, but this might be as we were early in their evening shift and they seemed to have not many tables left, hence why we were seated at the front. Would totally recommend and it was a great place to start off our trip in Bologna and try some proper Bolognese Italian cuisine. Quite expensive, but you get a lot of food, apart from the desserts where portions are a bit small - but don’t need to be bigger as loads of food otherwise.

A typical and characteristic restaurant in the center of Bologna. The dishes are prepared with just the right amount of seasoning. We tried the tagliatelle and green lasagna, but we also found the rabbit with polenta excellent. The desserts are also very tasty.
