Fantastic lunch in a very beautiful place in the sun. You have to be patient, but then you eat the tastiest marinara pasta ever. A very tasty lemon sorbet. Good price-quality ratio. We would love to come back!

prima di tutto parliamo di una trattoria, quindi le aspettative non possono essere da ristorante stellato. ho letto molte recensioni negative sul servizio che ritengo di dover categoricamente smentire. cibo ottimo, prezzo nella media. taci fronte mare in contesto di rara bellezza. in sintesi il titolare probabilmente non ha molti amici, ma le recensioni sono assolutamente esagerate se non inattendibili, alcune addirittura ridicole.

Siamo state a pranzo l’ultimo giorno del 2024 e siamo state molto soddisfatte. Location mozzafiato con tavolini all’aperto affacciati sul mare. Accolti con gentilezza dai proprietari seppur in una giornata piena di gente. Pesce fresco cucinato in maniera genuina e gustosa. Buono il semifreddo della casa. Vivamente consigliato.

very pleasant surprise! we passed by it by chance; even though the tables were almost all full and we hadn't booked, the owner immediately found us a seat. We had seafood appetizers and catch of the day, all very fresh and prepared in a simple but perfect way. Good local wine. Fast and friendly service. Correct prices. We will return.

28/03/2025: I want to come back!!! Look at the dishes! Top quality. There are two of us and we come from Palermo because it is nice to advise our guests where to go in Catania. La caverna del borgo is a charming, rustic and very pleasant place. Smiling and knowledgeable owners and staff. Excellent choice of wines and a wide choice of wines and local products. Fried fish as a very fresh and good appetizer. Abundant mixed meat platter. Sublime kilo cut with shrimp and pistachio. Recommended for a thousand reasons: staff, quality of products, location, cleanliness!! It is nice to review places that promote the area. We will return and I hope you will too.
21/03/2025: Higher expectations, too salty and low quality food. Price not appropriate
