Trattoria Santo Stefano In Lenno

A small restaurant in the heart of Lenno, with good Italian cuisine at high prices. Although the food was good, I wouldn't recommend this place due to the price/performance ratio. No pasta dish was under €20, a beer was €8 (only "special"). A small appetizer, bread was not fresh. A cover was €4 per person. The kitchen door was constantly open, which was a distraction on a quiet evening. Overall, a lot of money was wasted for a rather disappointing evening (although the food was tasty).

Random discovery, late dinner and everything was magnificent!

Worth trying if you value the quiet ambience alone, but we much preferred the food in other places in Lenno. Maybe we were unlucky, but we (a 2) ordered 2 main courses and each was not great. The ingredients didn’t seem fresh at all and they hadn’t been cooked or presented very nicely. I don’t normally add salt in restaurants but I had to add a lot to make it tasty, and it’s not like there had been lots of delicate flavour to begin with. The food wasn’t bad enough to complain about or send back - occasionally you go somewhere and the food isn’t great and we just wanted to eat dinner - but it was the worst we ate on our 7 day trip. If you are a good cook or know your food, i’d probably eat elsewhere. The wine by the glass was okay, but seemed like an unusually small portion.

Upscale restaurant with prices that are a bit higher than average. The staff is excellent and knows what they're doing. The food was excellent!

Group of 17, and we had no reservation. They were so friendly and able to find enough tables and chairs to accommodate us! Food was amazing!

The setting is very beautiful, but the prices are excessive for the cuisine offered.

We went here in May and we were in a bit of a rush. They brought the food out swiftly and an espresso for me after. We were sitting infront of the kitchen and could see inside while they were prepping the food and it was fascinating to watch. The food was divine even though they prepped it quickly for us. Reasonably priced for the gourmet quality. I would definitely return.

For years a safe place for good, authentic food, simply good.

This restaurant is located on a small square in a beautiful bay by Lake Como. They serve good wine, have friendly staff, and offer Italian-Sicilian food. Highly recommended!
