Excellent fish dishes, streetside setting, but when the food is good, you don't notice. Prices are a bit high.

A little pricey... but the fish is actually excellent, the service is excellent, and the location is beautiful. Outside, though I prefer inside, even if it's a bit small. In Ortona and the surrounding area, I think it's the best.

I had the best pasta alla Marinara of my life!! Truly delicious, and the service was perfect. All the love, hugs, and see you next time!

We stumbled across this restaurant and what a find! All of us really enjoyed the food and it is a fish-lovers delight. One of our group is what intolerant and they were so helpful with choosing the dishes. Loved the brodetto and spaghetti that used the sauce afterwards. The pastry made to a secret recipe by their uncle were delicious and the limoncello, cafe crema and lemon sorbet completed a truly memorable meal.

A charming spot beneath the castle, excellent, top-quality food, and delicious, fresh fish. On the downside, I'd mention the limited menu, plastic bottled water, and undrinkable coffee... above-average prices... it's a shame because the food is truly excellent.

Everything was very good, with an exclusively fish-based menu. The only downside: I read reviews that said it was "suitable for children," but they didn't have any dishes for them, not even a fried fish dish. In the end, I settled for a simple pasta dish. In summary: highly recommended for adults, but avoid if you have children (at least if they don't have a passion for fish).

Lovely location; I dined on the veranda overlooking the Aragonese Castle, which is beautifully lit at night. Fresh fish and beautifully presented dishes. Just two tips... when you leave the menu, it's best to specify if there are any dishes missing. I had the San Domenico brodetto, which tasted delicious, and the fish was very fresh. However, I think the pasta should be tossed better in the sauce, otherwise it would be disjointed. Otherwise, a positive experience, and the staff were kind and helpful.

We particularly want to highlight the Abruzzo specialty, the "Zuppa di Pesce" – a delicious fish soup that you won't find in many restaurants, but you should definitely try here. The food was excellent all around, and the service attentive and warm. The ambiance is authentic and typical of the region – not a touristy place, but a true Italian trattoria with plenty of charm. The location right next to the castle is perfect, and with a little patience, you can even find a parking space nearby. We highly recommend Trattoria San Domenico and would gladly return!
