This family-run restaurant in Florence is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and the kind of hospitality that instantly makes you feel at home. The food was incredible all homemade, traditional Tuscan recipes that were clearly prepared with love and care. Every dish was bursting with authentic flavor, from the fresh pasta to the slow-cooked sauces and rustic desserts. It felt like being invited into a local family’s kitchen. What made the experience even more special was the atmosphere cozy, welcoming, and full of character. You can really feel the passion behind everything they do. If you’re in Florence and want to experience genuine local food and the warmth of a true Italian family, don’t miss this place. It was one of the highlights of our trip!

Highly recommended for lunch near the Strozzi Palace and the Uffizi Gallery. Excellent pasta, good service, and a comfortable atmosphere. Home-style, family-run food. The tagliatelle with pesto was wonderful, and the gnocchi with tomato sauce was also very good. We didn't take pictures of the main courses, but we thoroughly enjoyed them. Prices are typical for the area; not cheap, but not expensive either. Perhaps the best value for money we found in our four days in Florence. We were there a few days ago and didn't want to miss the opportunity to write a review. Thank you.

A family-run restaurant, Alessandro, the son who runs the dining room, is a truly delightful person, with a smile and polite manners that are immediately apparent. As for the food, what can I say? Fantastic tagliatelle, divine meat, and even the desserts are second to none. Highly recommended.

In a Florence that has become a food and wine trap for wealthy tourists, Trattoria Roberto stands firm and offers, in its retro yet authentic setting, a genuine Tuscan cuisine experience, just like grandma's. All accompanied by the warm welcome of the family who have run this restaurant for decades. Everything was perfect, from the appetizers to the first courses; we'll be back to try the second courses! Best meal we had in Florence. The risotto was fresh and flavourful and meat perfectly cooked. The atmosphere was great the both times we visited and we got to meet the chefs which made it that bit personable.

Paseando por la noche lo vimos pero era un poco tarde y decidimos pasarnos al día siguiente. Nos ha encantado! Huíamos de sitios para turistas y nos ha encantado, además nos hemos quedado los últimos y ha salido el dueño a saludar y nos ha contado sus inicios y su historia! Ha sido una experiencia redonda! Hemos alimentado el cuerpo y el alma! Muchas gracias! Volveremos seguro!

Atendidos por sus dueños, mamá papá e hijo están al mando del restaurante. La comída excelente. Comimos pastas caseras y una torta de ricotta excelente. Un bolichon típico para salir del bullicio de los turistas.
