Full five star restaurant! I ate an exceptional braised dish, high quality meat and cooking by the book. The choice of wines is also top notch, they have the best wines in the area without spending a fortune. In fact, the quality/price ratio is also excellent, excellent mixed fried food complete according to tradition! Absolutely recommended and unmissable.

In Treiso, a trattoria that resists with simple, quality dishes. Sunday family lunch went very well. The menu included 4 traditional appetizers, including the inevitable joke and vitello tonnato, which were followed by a first course (in my case tajarin with rabbit ragout and livers) and a second course (extraordinary braised meat). The seemingly simple dessert came with unexpected flavours. In short... I recommend it.

Very pleasant discovery in Treiso, after a walk in the vineyards to reach the gullies (fortress of the seven brothers). Excellent local truffle dishes! Sublime the tomino with egg and grated fresh white truffle!

We had a good time. The venue is a unique, clean and tidy environment, unfortunately it does not have panoramic views. The quality of the food is excellent and the quantity is acceptable. For the regular menu the price is average, while the truffle is a little expensive. Lastly, considering that eight of us spent €74 each, I would have expected at least one free round of digestives, but instead the payment was rather cold and detached. In any case I recommend it.

Nuestro anfitrión de la excursión del vino recomendó este lugar, y nos alegra que lo hiciera. Tuvimos la suerte de estar aquí durante la feria de la trufa. El tajarin (pasta local) con trufas blancas afeitadas era excelente. Parecía que la mayoría de los clientes eran locales - siempre una buena señal.

Ottima hostería in Treiso nelle terre langarole del Barbaresco. Serata piacevolissima all’insegna della migliore tradizione. Pietanze eccellenti: tortino di porri e vitello tonnato eccellenti, tajarin con tartufo spettacolari e un brasato al barbaresco da manuale carne eccellente che si scioglieva in bocca. Ottimo vino (un barbaresco di Treiso). Dolci molto buoni. Servizio cordiale. Conto più che onesto in rapporto alla qualità. Davvero bravi: abbiamo trascorso momenti davvero molto belli. Da ricordare!

14/01/2025: All very good, but I don't include the maximum for two reasons: 1) since Alba is also the city of truffles, when there are none it would be better to specify it during the booking or on the menu posted outside and not wait for the moment of ordering, especially in December because not all tourists may know the truffle perfectly annual seasonality. The alternatives proposed on the menu were excellent!!!! 2) if you include a dessert that is not typical of the local tradition, it would be better to come prepared. I am speaking in this case of His Majesty the Baba (forgive the hyperbole). I was served a dessert with a non-elastic consistency (more similar to a pastry), with the rum syrup poured in on the spot; otherwise, call him “babà in our way”, then everything is allowed.
