Very small and cozy restaurant serving local food. The whole experience was good though dishes were just a bit saltier than they should have been (IMHO). I found strange the absence of chianina steaks, but it's a management choice I respect.
I didn't necessarily appreciate the cost of the bottle of wine, which came for 30 euro despite being a local producer. I understand the necessity of making a small profit, but I guess in this case it was a bit overpriced.

Cozy environment, few tables but a careful and expert cuisine. Welcoming and informal but the only word that describes this little corner is PERFECT. Well done guys. Highly recommended!!

Still going strong despite the change of ownership
I've been coming here for 8 years and never disappointed. Good trattoria with professional service and simple, tasty dishes. Good atmosphere. Open all year round and almost every day. Well done to them!!!! Keep it up. Please note you must reserve the number of tables is very very limited

I came a few days ago for a holiday in Tuscany, and together with my family we decided to book a table at Trattoria Rigoletto, I can only give five stars because of the fast service and friendly staff,

Locale appena fuori dalle mura di SanGimignano. Molto piccolo, pochi tavoli, tipico ed accogliente. Servizio veloce e gentile. Abbiamo preso un tagliere di formaggi locali a metà e un primo di pici cacio e pepe ciascuno, buonissimi!!! Un calice di vino e un dolce ciascuno. Spesa circa 25 euro a testa, ottimo! Consigliatissimo per qualità e prezzo.

Un locale veramente piccolo ma molto accogliente appena fuori le mura di San Gimignano. Gentili e cordiali i proprietari. Buona sia la tagliata che i pici, ottimo il crostino ai fegatini. I prezzi presumo in linea con la zona (1 antipasto, 1 primo, 1 secondo, 1 contorno, 1 calice di vino, acqua e caffè circa 45 euro con lo sconto The Fork). Un bella serata.
