Good restaurant just outside the center of San Gimignano. Good, plentiful dishes and honest prices. We had to squeeze in a bit, but it was a very pleasant lunch!

Small place but great service and food. I would stay here again. The generous starter was excellent and I recommend it! The pici with cheese and pepper are also excellent. Advised!

Found on the web and booked the day before. The environment is a bit small, 20 seats in an area with a maximum of 10, otherwise small...😎but, excellent cuisine and fast and friendly service, worth a second visit. 😋😋😋

Si estás en una pequeña ciudad italiana solo por tres noches, puede que te lleve demasiado tiempo encontrar su mejor restaurante. Lo encontré en el último almuerzo por casualidad, Rigoletto; está justo fuera de la puerta inferior, hasta el final a través de San Giovanni y luego en la puerta otros 400 pies. Después del almuerzo, reservé para la cena. La vernaccia estaba espléndida, también los espaguetis al pomodoro, picantes y no sosos, también los espaguetis olio aglio, que se supone que son picantes y estaban deliciosos. El risotto de azafrán es el plato clave de San Gimignano, famoso y próspero por esa planta, no solo por su perfecta ubicación en la ruta de peregrinación del norte de Europa a Roma y Jerusalén. Una vez me tomé una gran torte de manzana con helado de postre y la otra vez una fina panna cotta con caramelo. Llama con anticipación porque es un agujero en la pared y siempre está lleno. Place with few tables, but very particular. We ate well, and the staff is really kind and smiling. it is located immediately outside the walls, and from the window you can see a beautiful landscape. We had two second courses and a first course, all very tasty.

If you’re in a small Italian town only for three nights, it might take you too long to find its best restaurant. I found it at last lunch by chance, Rigoletto; it’s just outside the lower gate, all the way down via San Giovanni and then on out the gate another 400 feet. After lunch, I reserved for dinner. The vernaccia was splendid, also the spaghetti al pomodoro, spicy and not bland, also the spaghetti olio aglio, which is supposed to be spicy and was delicious. Saffron risotto is the key dish of San Gimignano, famous and prosperous for that plant, not just for its perfect location on the pilgrimage route from North Europe to Rome and Jerusalem. I had a great apple torte with ice cream for dessert one time and a fine panna cotta with caramel the next one. Call up in advance because it’s a hole in the wall and always full. Locals know.

Un locale veramente piccolo ma molto accogliente appena fuori le mura di San Gimignano. Gentili e cordiali i proprietari. Buona sia la tagliata che i pici, ottimo il crostino ai fegatini. I prezzi presumo in linea con la zona (1 antipasto, 1 primo, 1 secondo, 1 contorno, 1 calice di vino, acqua e caffè circa 45 euro con lo sconto The Fork). Un bella serata.
