Wonderful experience. Excellent food and wines, including by the glass. Great welcome from co-owner. Excellent service. On a short visit to Parma, we went for lunch -we enjoyed it so much that we went back the next day. Gets busy, so advisable to book in adance.

A truly family-run trattoria, serving top-quality local produce and dishes, expertly prepared by the lady, while her husband serves. The photo gallery, which subtly decorates the trattoria, is a beautiful one, always featuring the two of them.

Wonderful family owned restaurant in Parma. We had an amazing home cooked meal and the service (from the owner) was wonderful. Can't wait to return to Parma and Rigoletto

I went there on a Saturday lunchtime with my family. The atmosphere was welcoming, without too much pomp. The owner who waits tables was kind, helpful, and quick to joke. The chef, who is also the owner, is the jewel in the crown. The food was just the right amount and of high quality. Highly recommended! And right in the center!

Wir genießen ein Abendessen mit zwei Personen Im Mai. Das Lokal bietet insgesamt 28 Sitzplätze und wird von den Inhabern Antonella und Fabrizio allein betrieben. Antonella bereitet die Speisen in der Küche mit Hingabe und Liebe zu. Fabrizio betreut und berät die Gäste auf eine ganz persönliche, liebenswerte Art. Dabei erinnert er mich ein wenig an Freddie Frinton als Butler James im Sketch „Dinner for One“ aus dem deutschen Fernsehen. Wir essen als Vorspeise Prosciutto di Parma 24/26 mesi  Sani Franco Als Hauptspeise Filetto di Manzo Fassona con Balsamico, Melograno fresco e Flan di Patate und Coppa di Maiale con Salsa Agrodolce di Limone e Zenzero e Patate Arrosto Sowie zum Abschluss „Assortimento con Miele  e Composta di Frutta Senapata“. Dazu ein Glas trockenen Weißwein auf Empfehlung von Fabrizio. Der Schinken, das Fleisch, der Käse und der Wein sind köstlich. Der Gastraum ist spartanisch und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die besondere Note erhält er durch Fotos der Inhaber die Antonella mit Stativ und Selbstauslöser während der Corono Lockdown Zeit selbst aufgenommen hat. Diese Fotos sind auch auf den Internetseiten des Rigoletto zu bewundern. Wir haben den Abend und das Essen in entspannter Atmosphäre genossen. Wir bedanken uns bei Antonella und Fabrizio für die Schaffung dieser wunderbaren Atmosphäre und des Genusses. Beim nächsten Parma Besuch werden wir das Rigoletto gerne wieder besuchen.

04/10/2025: This traditional trattoria is located in Barbiano, nestled in the hills of Felino, completely immersed in the greenery of this beautiful town in the province of Parma. This place is well-known for its natural beauty, but above all for its culinary tradition. In fact, only local dishes, authentic Parmesan cuisine, have always been served here. Among the dishes they offer are: stuffed punta with potatoes and sweet smoked carpaccio, tagliatelle with mushrooms and truffles, potato agnolotti with black truffles, and tortelli with herbs or pumpkin. But there are many other delicious first courses, excellent second courses featuring good local meats, and fresh homemade desserts, along with good wines and excellent cured meats. I'd say coming up here is the perfect choice for a good Saturday.
