We chose this spot based on reviews and were very happy to find our experience just as great as other reviewers.
The restaurant has a small store-front on the street, but don't be deceived. It has a very large dining room and all the way in the back, a very substantial deck over the grand canal.
We got a corner seat where we enjoyed watching all the activity on the canal. The staff was friendly and helpful. They were available when we needed but were not overly present so our meal was relaxed.
Our food was all wonderfully prepared and presented. We enjoyed each dish and our experience dining on the Grand Canal.

We were walking by this restaurant and Christina was standing outside answering everybody’s questions about food etc. She told us to go have look inside the for view of the can. She was absolutely 💯 right. Food was amazing. All the staff is very friendly. View of the canal was amazing 😻

Food was nice. Watch out for the covers charge, the give you dry bread which is not nice and then charge you 2 euros each for it. The food was decent but not the best we had in Venice. The service was polite and smartly dressed but not swift. You pay a premium for the location which was beautiful looking out on the Grand Canal. Overall probably worth it if you can afford it.

There was a waiter dressed in black who served customers very politely. He could speak a little Japanese.
It was cute that they called tipping a gratuity (*´∇｀)
The other waiter in white clothes was a little unpleasant.
The overall atmosphere was good!

We had our first lunch at this restaurant and the food was fantastic! The risotto (with smoked ham) and seafood spaghetti (fruits of the sea) were what we had and we enjoyed every bite!! The service was prompt and very friendly as well ✨

Ho organizzato il compleanno della mia compagna lunedì 15 Luglio…. Serata Unica, con ostriche e crudita di mare, poi insalatina di polpo e orata pescata alla griglia! Dolce con tanto di canzone da parte dei ragazzi, il tutto accompagnato dal vino che ci hanno fatto conoscere, Madre, successivamente champagne…. Un ringraziamento a Simone, il titolare, Alessandro…. Grazie per la sciabolata e Roberto il Maitre di Sala! Un abbraccio di cuore al tutto il team, a presto
