Trattoria Portolano In Gallipoli

We went on the recommendation of a friend from Puglia, but we didn't think it would be this good! They welcomed us warmly and served us a wonderful dinner! We tried a mixed appetizer, tubettini pasta with scorpion fish, seared tuna, and finally granita and gelato. We'll definitely be back.

decent food, good service, but high prices, for a restaurant... two starters, two first courses and a second course cost us more than 90 euros, not even a reception room costs that much... and then what a hassle the stains and the ones that pass in front of us|

Risotto was Well Done and very tasty, the sunset view amazing and the personal was very service minded, the house wine was also very good. We are very Happy with the experience.

We researched Ristorante Portolano online in advance – and were pleasantly surprised in every way. Our expectations were not only met, but exceeded! The food was simply fantastic – fresh, aromatic, and perfectly prepared. Every course was a delight, especially the fish dishes, where you immediately taste the proximity to the harbor and the quality of the ingredients. A big compliment to the service: super friendly, attentive, and at the same time pleasantly unobtrusive. We were particularly impressed by the chef personally coming to our table several times to check if everything was okay. This shows genuine hospitality and passion for good food. The ambiance is charmingly maritime and fits wonderfully with the authentic cuisine – you feel welcome from the very first moment. Conclusion: If you want to experience fresh fish and high-quality Apulian cuisine in Gallipoli, Portolano is the place for you. We will definitely be back!

I congratulate these people, but especially the owners, with Signora, a great example of a hard worker, the first to step in to delight her customers, adding quantity to quality, something unheard of in recent years. Franco, the owner, is a lover of the sea, boats, and especially our beloved Naples. A man rich in culture, yet proud to have been born right there, in that place where the sunset is the highlight of the place, on the border between dream and reality! A big hug, and as promised, see you at the end of August!

Visually, it presents itself as a refined and elite place...but the friendly atmosphere and the freshness of the ingredients give life to masterfully prepared traditional dishes. Recommended, especially at sunset.

Arrivati a Gallipoli abbiamo pranzato in questa trattoria. Che dire, antipasto misto di pesce fantastico. Primi piatti si pesce fresco, porzioni abbondantissime. Il titolare è un personaggio! Atmosfera e locale molto caratteristico.

Una bellissima scoperta: locale storico ben arredato, vista mare, ottimi prodotti, cucina come a casa della nonna, personale cordiale. Ci torneremo.
