Local food served in record time by very friendly waiters!

Location in the middle of nowhere, attached to the Veya bridge from which it takes its name. You can have lunch inside and be comfortably served, or takeout outside where there are plenty of tables and benches. We opted for the inside, nothing exceptional but everything very clean and functional. Served by super courteous and kind ladies (they accept our canine friends 👍), the food was simply fantastic... tortelloni filled with butter and sage, so simple yet fantastic (crunchy sage), chicken with potatoes, despite a lot of demand for the dish today, it was cooked to the perfect minute, not overcooked and dry nor internally raw, simply perfect and excellent flavor, potatoes with their skins 🫶, and what can I say about the grilled meat... everything tasty, cooked to perfection and of exceptional quality... wine on tap, volpicella... I drank it all, who knows why... They even offered us grappa... We took advantage of the fence and wished the owner a happy birthday... There was cod Vicenza-style... which I'll order next time... In winter, there's Pearà (you must try it). The prices may seem a little high, but after eating... you realize you paid the right price and ate everything well. Everyone gets top marks, even the cashier 👍👍👍👍

A very beautiful place, an excellent starting point for various hikes, located just above the Veja Bridge. It has a large parking lot and an outdoor area where you can grab a picnic. The bar counter is made of fossils, very beautiful and unique, and the trattoria is welcoming and well-stocked, whether for a quick stop or a more complete meal. The owners are helpful and kind, and the fresh pasta is very good and plentiful (I recommend the one with truffle). Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the meat, which didn't seem freshly cooked but rather reheated from the day before, both in taste and appearance. This is the only downside; I'd recommend perhaps ordering the first course and desserts, because the meat was disappointing for the price.

Excellent trattoria, definitely above average. Excellent food, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Very nice atmosphere, but it's a shame the bar entrance dampens the atmosphere a bit.
