A historic restaurant in the heart of Vicenza, offering a hybrid cuisine combining traditional Vicenza dishes with Tyrolean fare. It's a seemingly odd combination, but it offers diners a wider choice. You'll find good quality, very friendly service, and a very simple space. Perhaps you were expecting more of the feel of an old trattoria.

Finally!...a place like few others these days, where substance prevails without neglecting form.
I stopped for lunch a few weeks ago and it was a pleasant surprise, especially considering the quality/price ratio.
The owners/managers' choice to offer typical specialties from the Vicenza and Trentino regions is remarkable, satisfying a wide range of palates.

A typical trattoria in the historic center, easily reached on foot after using one of the large municipal parking lots nearby. The restaurant is welcoming, with well-spaced tables and tablecloths. The staff were very helpful and smiling, serving us with expertise and courtesy, offering helpful advice. The varied menu features a good selection of local dishes. The cod crostini and bigoli with duck sauce were very tasty. The tiramisu to finish was simply fantastic! The bill was reasonable, with the service and cover charge of €3 per person being particularly noteworthy. A highly recommended experience, as were the after-lunch strolls to Porta Castello and the nearby Salvi Park/Garden.
