Trattoria Pizzeria San Basilio In Milano

Set menu with water and coffee for €14. Excellent lunch break, truly excellent food, and a varied selection for a set menu.

A good pizzeria (I'd almost call it a "village" one) with a huge selection of pizzas (they also serve food, and the dishes I saw being passed around looked great, but on the day of my visit, we'd opted for pizza night). The pizzas are good, with appropriate toppings and generous portions. There's also a nice selection of desserts. I'm not reviewing the wine list because I haven't even looked at the wine/beer list (I'm on a detox). EXCEPTIONAL service: fast, courteous, and professional. The atmosphere is pleasantly noisy, perhaps not suitable for a romantic evening, but perfect for family gatherings or groups of friends.

Good pizza, but in December you can't keep the radiators off.
