Dining by the lake. This place has better burgers than most places in the United States and the fries are perfection. So much that I couldn't eat all of it! Very reasonably priced. Kid friendly. And it has a regular toilet that you can sit on 🤭

I didn't know what to order (pizza, meat, burgers) and the waitress gave me great advice (thank you!). I left with a full stomach for 40 euros, including an aperitif. P.S.: I love the presentation of the meat before it arrives on the plate... I highly recommend it if you're ever in the area.

Unfortunately, we went on a Sunday, and when I ordered the huge grill, I honestly found the "grilled meat" to be clearly microwaved. The pork quality was very questionable, and the plate contained two tiny pieces of three different types of meat and two ultra-thin slices full of roast beef-like fat. To finish, a stuffed sweet potato... I don't mean to be rude, but not even a child would eat something like that. The guacamole was clearly not "homemade," a pile of chili sauce to cover the horrible taste, and eight tiny pieces of green chili peppers. A truly 2* lunch, not even for €56. The service needs to be reconsidered: there's not enough attention to the dining room (three waitresses), and once you've finished, your plate isn't taken away and you're asked to top up your dessert and coffee. You then get up and go pay after a 15-minute wait. Finally... the full garbage bins visible from the windows overlooking the lake... put up curtains.

My girlfriend and I, along the Oropa Way, stopped by Locanda del Lago 2.0 to get our pilgrim stamps. We knew it might be closed at that afternoon hour, but despite it being closed, we were greeted by the owner, Paolo, who saw us arrive. Since we weren't stopping in Viverone for dinner, we asked if home delivery was possible. Even though there wasn't a delivery service that day (it was Monday), Paolo himself, with his helpfulness and kindness, came to deliver our dinner to a village 5 km away. A much-appreciated gesture for two hungry pilgrims! Thank you! Excellent food! We really enjoyed the hamburgers, the delicious stuffed potatoes, the Caesar salad, and the tiramisu (actually, Locandamisù) made with Oro Saiwa biscuits and Nutella. And what can we say about the beer... excellent! Next time, we've promised ourselves we'll have dinner at Locanda del Lago 2.0! A place where you can definitely eat well and where friendliness and warmth are the order of the day!

Located on the Viverone lakefront, easily accessible with ample streetside parking. The house specialty is undoubtedly meat. Renowned for its steaks, offering a variety of Italian and international cuts. The burgers and appetizers are also excellent; the beef tartare is spectacular. Excellent selection of local and regional wines, perfect pairings with the meat, as well as a wide selection of beers, including classic commercial and craft beers. The staff is helpful and friendly, and prices are reasonable for a steakhouse of this type. Highly recommended.
