Trattoria Pizzeria alla Veneziana In Bassano del grappa

We ate well... Interesting traditional Venetian dishes. The service lost a star, but overall everything was positive.

I arrived on a Sunday evening at 8:00 PM, and while every restaurant in Bassano was packed, there was no one here, just us and a lady at the back. Lots of staff, and above all, a very friendly and professional waiter. An old-fashioned atmosphere, inspired by the menu that even bowling clubs don't have (unsightly). Various choices, and nothing to complain about in terms of variety. Appetizer with mushrooms, soppressa, and polenta (too dry)... Polenta and cod (the cod was okay, but the polenta was still too dry). A tiny salmon steak with chips. A plate of carpaccio. Water and house wine. And finally, two coffees. 110 euros. My son only ate a small piece of salmon and chips. My wife a plate of carpaccio. And I had polenta and cod with the appetizer. I'll leave it to you to judge.

We went to Trattoria alla Veneziana last night and the experience was truly wonderful. We tried the bigoli with duck, a superbly prepared dish: fresh pasta, authentic flavors, and generous portions. The waiter was extremely friendly and attentive, making us feel at ease from the very first moment. Coming from Spain, it was a real pleasure to find such a warm and friendly welcome. We were truly delighted with both the food and the service. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy an authentic Venetian experience.

In love with Bassano del Grappa, we have our trusted restaurant here at the Veneziana, where courtesy and friendliness are the order of the day. Besides the city, the Vicenza-style cod is our other weakness, and here it is truly impeccably cooked. The other strong point is the expertise and professionalism of the order taker (I apologize, but I don't know his name). His impeccable style and courtesy enhance the entire atmosphere. I highly recommend everyone to stop at the Veneziana, and a stroll through wonderful Bassano del Grappa ❤️

The food is excellent and presented in an original way. In particular, the Vicenza-style cod is one of the best I've ever eaten. The waiter is kind and professional, a real gem compared to the usual fare. The bill is quite high, but justified by the quality of the food and wine. The Prosecco is also excellent.

An excellent little trattoria. The food is all freshly prepared, and the service is attentive but not overly overbearing. Highly recommended.

Dated place, but excellent service, the waiter was friendly and professional. The rustic appetizer (€14) is a simple dish but well paired, instead the bigoli with duck (€13) were a bit bland, on the other hand the cod Vicenza style (€20) was tasty. The desserts offered are not homemade, except for the strudel. Prices are all in all fair, with the cover charge at €2.50, the 0.75 lt water at €4 and the coffee at €1.80.

Nice place, not far from the Alpini bridge in Bassano. Good food, fast service, maybe because it wasn't a crowded Sunday, and we arrived shortly after 12. Prices maybe a little high, especially for drinks, but I fully recommend it.
