Piedmontese trattoria. We were invited to try the Piedmontese-style fritto misto, which was delicious, light and easy to digest. The Alba-style truffle fritters were also excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Good food, fast and attentive service

We tried this place on Sunday for lunch. The location is very authentic and homey, like an "old-fashioned trattoria," and it's very crowded. Despite the large crowd, the service is attentive and fast. The menu is truly extensive and unique, with many traditional dishes that are almost impossible to find these days. Everything is truly excellent: from the trio of raw meats to the egg tartare; from the Castelmagno risotto to the agnolotti with roast gravy. The fried brains and bagna cauda were also excellent. The only dish that was slightly below expectations was the stewed rabbit (too little meat compared to the bones, but still excellent flavor). The bill was truly fair; highly recommended.

This time, my typical dinner on the go was so-so. The dishes were good, perhaps the frogs weren't cooked to perfection because the meat wouldn't come off the bones. The girl forgot to tell me about the off-menu dishes. Next to me, they started moving tables and chairs, which added to the commotion in the room. In the next room, there was a faulty light that kept flashing; I think the diners had an epileptic fit before the main course. Despite the full menu, I wasn't exactly full; I would have eaten a few more agnolotti (the filling was excellent). The staff was courteous, though a bit rushed.
