Typical Veronese cuisine, oriented toward gourmet fare rather than trattoria-style, as the name suggests. The service was excellent. The bill was decidedly too high (over €70 per person).

Business dinner in Verona on November 14, 2025. Excellent tasting menu: appetizer, two first courses (top-notch white ragù), and guinea fowl breast (very high quality). The only thing I didn't like was the dessert. Overall, I recommend it and will definitely return. Prices are reasonable for the quality.

Even though we called at the last minute, they managed to find us a table with little wait. A very nice atmosphere, especially for the excellent food and friendly staff. I recommend it!

A truly excellent dinner with friends! Traditional dishes prepared with care and quality ingredients, with authentic and genuine flavors. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the staff is kind and attentive. To top it all off, an excellent Ripasso and an Amarone della Valpolicella, which enhanced each course. A tasting experience that perfectly captures Verona's tradition—highly recommended!

We went for lunch today, for the first time! Congratulations, it was a unique taste experience! Exceptional quality, excellent, and meticulously prepared food! A special mention for the preparation, passion, and courtesy of the waiter who served us; he also made the difference! We'll be back soon, and often!

We had an amazing evening at pane e vino. Service was really friendly and helpful. Food is regional and special. Portions rather small. Big recommendation for the steak. Some of the best meat I had, certainly the best in Verona / Italy. Prefer it over bisteccha in Firenze. Might seem like a lot of fat, but it’s just delicious. Wine is a recommendation as well.

Personale cortese, servizio impeccabile, piatti della cucina tipica veronese preparati con cura e con un tocco di innovazione sono gli ingredienti che fanno di questa trattoria un bel posto dove fermarsi a mangiare.L'ambiente è estremamente accogliente, rustico ma tutt'altro che trasandato. Le porizioni abbondanti. Il menù propone numerose specialità veronesi e venete, dal baccalà alla vicentina alla polenta morbida. Chi ama i primi piatti può sbizzarrirsi tra le melanzane pasticciate alla parmigiana con basilico, pomodoro e mozzarella, gli gnocchi di patate con salsa al tartufo nero estivo della Lessinia, la minestra di pasta e fagioli alla veneta con i bigoli, la pancetta e il rosmarino, e molto altro ancora. Io ho provato il risotto mantecato al vino Amarone, cipolla rossa e formaggio ubriaco: ottimo e abbondante!

04/10/2025: We chose this restaurant based on Google recommendations. The setting is pleasant, with a small outdoor courtyard/patio, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. However, it should be noted that there was a veritable invasion of mosquitoes, which made the meal quite unpleasant (although it wasn't the restaurant's fault). As for the main course, there was a real contrast: the beef dish with mashed potatoes and a red wine sauce was excellent, tender and flavorful, reminiscent of stew but with its own distinct identity. On the other hand, my main course—linguine with chanterelles (replacing unavailable porcini mushrooms)—was very disappointing: simple buttered pasta with a few mushrooms, with no sauce or particular flavor, especially at this price. The tiramisu for dessert was good, but overall, we have mixed feelings: some very good dishes, but also some real disappointments, which doesn't really justify the enthusiasm of the online reviews.
