Honestly, it was fantastic. We had a wonderful time and a delicious meal.
The portions were generous, flavorful, and everything was homemade.
As for the service, it was impeccable. The manager is incredibly attentive, even with limited staff. He takes the time to explain each dish with a good dose of humor. Good to know: he speaks French, and very well at that. I absolutely recommend this restaurant :)

It's a cheerful and friendly old man's shop. He was very kind to us, even though our English is not very good. The food is delicious. The panna cota was good, but the salami and cured ham were especially tasty.

Amazing and authentic Italian dishes with wonderful service. I would highly recommend Trattoria Osti Matti. Felt like a was eating at Nana's house.

Might be the best food we had in Rome! My husband and I came here twice, and the second time, the couple next to us told us it was their second visit too. Everything was absolutely delicious: the house white wine, pork shank, cheese board, potatoes, pasta, pure perfection!
The owner is incredibly lovely and makes you feel so welcome from the moment you walk in. If we could give more than 5 stars, we absolutely would. Don’t miss this spot when visiting Rome - it’s 100% worth it! Would recommend booking a table as it fills up very quickly with people in the evenings.

If you're in the neighborhood around dinnertime, stop by this unassuming little restaurant. The menu is extensive, and the owner is very welcoming. He seemed delighted to switch between French, English, and Spanish, entertaining his guests with anecdotes. The pasta was perfect, and the chocolate and cherry cake was worthy of the finest restaurants.

A wonderful little restaurant that truly wins you over with its owner's charm. He presented the entire menu to us in a very warm and entertaining way. The food was authentic and delicious, and the portions were perfectly sized so that you could enjoy both the first and second courses. We had a little trouble choosing the right wine, but we were able to sample several until we found the perfect one. A lovely, enjoyable evening.
